JOB VACANCY Pani Gold Project, one of most anticipated projects of Merdeka Copper Gold, is seeking highly qualified candidates for: 

METALLURGIST 

Code: PRO - MET

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or related fields
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in metallurgical role withing mining or mineral processing 
• Experienced in Heap Leach Operation and/or GRG-CIL operation is preferred 
• Having POP (A First Level Operations Supervisor) certificate is preferred 
• Strong analytical and problem -solving skills 
• Proficiency in metallurgical testing and process optimization 
• Knowledge of safety, environmental, and operational best practices Excellent communication and teamwork abilities 
• Willing to be placed at the Pani Gold Project site location with a schedule and working hours determined by the company 

Role and Responsibilities: 

• Comply with and implement Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (K3L) regulations and play an active role in K3L activities and  initiatives 
• Cost control and budgeting for metallurgical processes, by optimizing, but not limited to optimizing reagent and consumable usage, and other optimization plans
• Capable to develop and execute test work in lab scale and plant operation to improve gold and silver recovery and to improve plant efficiency 
• Well communicate with process operation, process maintenance and other related departments to execute plant performance improvement 
• Contributing to maximize plant efficiency 
• Monitoring and improving gold recovery rates to maximize revenue 
• Contributing to future process investigation & development (GRG-CIL) for optimum plant design and production 
• Supporting professional development of metallurgical staff Improving reporting accuracy and data integrity for informed decision-making
