Lowongan Kerja IT Support Engineer

We're looking for a 

IT Support Engineer

to join us at PT. Layar Nusantara Gas and Placement at Papua, Indonesia. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of IT support experience, preferably in a similar industry such as energy, oil & gas, or manufacturing. 
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. 
• Understanding of IT security best practices, vulnerability management, and experience with firewalls, encryption, and user authentication. 
• Experience with maintaining hardware, software, and networks in a high-demand operational environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide day-to-day technical support for all employees, including remote support for field personnel. 
• Monitor network performance, diagnose issues, and ensure network connectivity is maintained at all company locations, including remote sites and offshore platforms. 
• Respond to and resolve IT incidents and outages promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. 
• Work closely with other departments, including operations, engineering, and management, to ensure IT systems support the company's objectives and operational efficiency. 
• Provide training to staff on the use of new technologies, applications, and security procedures.
