WHO ARE WE

PT Masmindo Dwi Area (MDA) is dedicated to becoming Indonesia next gold producer through the development of the Awak Mas Gold Project. The Awak Mas Gold Project is located in the Latimojong District, Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi. We are seeking the following position:

PROCUREMENT ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that EHS requirements in PO are properly researched and approved and are appropriate to MDA requirements. Strive to ensure that EHS requirements are fully recognized by suppliers and establish direct communication with EHS department in the event of any discrepancy or lack of adherence, by any party, that has not been immediately responded to user.
• Prepare Request for quotation/ Tender in accordance with departmental standards. Assist sponsor to establish procurement strategy and plan. Ensure that appropriate documentation is prepared and reviewed by all impacted persons.
• Ensure appropriate standard methodology for evaluation of tenders is communicated to sponsor/user. Assist sponsor with establishment of criteria and weightings for evaluation matrix. Ensure that tender clarification process is fully documented and communicated in accordance with tender instructions.
• Provide comprehensive and accurate documents to electronic and manual record system for all contractors.
• Directly assist sponsor at required and requested service level to in Procurement tasks, including performance metric, performance reviews, payment, settlement of disputes. Proactive to Supervisor in raising any concerns regarding the compliance with PO conditions by either party.
• Ensure that suppliers records of performance are maintained and that all contractor profiles appropriate to tender activity are provided to administration function. Requirements:
• Bachelor ($1) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from reputable institution.
• Min. 5 years in Procurement. Experience in Greenfield/Brownfield project would be an advantage.
• Certification and/or familiar with INCOTERM 2010, PPJK.
• Excellent in MS Office MS Office Application (Word, Excel, Power Point), with Good understanding on ERP - Procurement/Contract menu (SAP, Pronto or Ellipse).
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

CONTRACT ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that EHS requirements in contracts are properly researched and approved and are appropriate to MDA requirements. Strive to ensure that EHS requirements are fully recognized by contractors and establish direct communication with EHS department in the event of any discrepancy or lack of adherence, by any party, that has not been immediately responded to by the contract sponsor or contract manager.
• Prepare Request for quotation/ Tender/Contracts in accordance with MDA standards. Assist sponsor to establish contract strategy and tender plan. Ensure that appropriate documentation is prepared and reviewed by all impacted persons.
• Ensure appropriate standard methodology for evaluation of tenders is communicated to sponsor/user. Assist sponsor with establishment of criteria and weightings for evaluation matrix. Ensure that tender clarification process is fully documented and communicated in accordance with tender instructions.
• Provide comprehensive and accurate documents to electronic and manual record system for all contractors. Fully auditable. Ensure that critical documents related to monitoring compliance with contract conditions are provided to administration section.

• Directly assist sponsor at required and requested service level to in Contract Administration tasks, including performance metric, performance reviews, payment, settlement of disputes. Proactive to Supervisor in raising any concerns regarding the compliance with contract conditions by either party.
• For all service contracts ensure that all required information maintained in procurement related to contract activity is accurately and effectively reported in accordance with Procurement reporting criteria. Ensure confidentiality of all information.
• Fully participate with cross functional teams and Procurement teams as directed. Ensure that information is properly researched, prepared and presented to assist with team objectives and that full commitment to the team is maintained.
• Ensure that contractor records of performance are maintained and that all contractor profiles appropriate to tender activity are provided to administration function. Requirements:
• Bachelor (S1) in Engineering from reputable institution.
• Min. 5 years in Contractual process. Experience in Greenfield project would be an advantage.
• Training/Certification in Contract Management.
• Excellence in MS Office Application (Word, Excel, Power Point), with Good understanding on ERP - Procurement/Contract menu (SAP, Pronto or Ellipse).
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
