PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR)

PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) is a mining company based in Indonesia that is engaged in the exploration, mining, and processing of gold and silver. The only place of operation is at the Martabe Gold Mine in North Sumatra. Company functions are managed from Jakarta.

Mineral Resources as of June 30, 2020, reached 7.6 million ounces of gold and 66 million ounces of silver. Production began at Martabe on 24 July 2012. The operating capacity of the Martabe Gold Mine is exceeds 6 million tonnes of ore per year to produce more than 300.000 ounces of gold and 2-3 million ounces of silver per year.

PTAR employs more than 3,000 employees and contractors, over 99% of whom are Indonesian nationals, and more than 70% of whom are recruited from local residents. PTAR is committed to creating safe and efficient operations, minimizing environmental impact, and ensuring our existence provides long-term benefits to all local stakeholders.

The majority shareholder in PTAR is PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara, which is owned by PT United Tractors, Tbk (60%) and PT Pamapersada Nusantara (40%), with a total share of 95%. PT United Tractors Tbk is a public company whose shares are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and also a subsidiary of PT Astra International Tbk. PT United Tractors, Tbk’s share ownership consists of 59.50 by PT Astra International Tbk and 40.50% by the public. PT. Pamapersada Nusantara is 99.9% owned by PT United Tractors, Tbk. 5% of the Company’s shares are owned by PT Artha Nugraha Agung which is jointly owned by PT Pembangunan Prasarana Sumatera Utara with 30% and PT Tapanuli Selatan Membangun with 70%.

To strengthen the existing Community Development team and to ensure the achievement of the department objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for a candidate to fill the role:

 

SENIOR OFFICER - EDUCATION (CD 2203027)

This position will be based at the Martabe Site in Community Development Department and reports directly to Supervisor - Education. The Role of Senior Officer - Education is to implement and ensure that Education programs are carried out well and have a positive impact on the community, especially in the DAV area.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  1. University graduate in Diploma (D3) or Bachelor Degree; Desirable Bachelor Degree of Education or experience in the field of education formal and non-formal.
  2. Good interpersonal and public communication skills.
  3. Have 3 years of experience working on community development, especially education.
  4. Able to operate a computer at least Microsoft Office.
  5. Proven communications and reporting skills using standard computer programs.
  6. Able command of English, spoken, and written.
  7. Has Driver's license A and C.
  8. Desirable have organizational experience.
  9. Desirable has experience in administration and management of petty cash.
  10. Desirable have a good attitude and are a sociable person.
  11. Desirable have respect for local culture and uphold local customs.
  12. Holding vaccines certificate (Vaccines 1 & Vaccines 2).
  13. This position is for LOCAL only.

 

ACCOUNTANT (FIN 2204031)

This position will be based at Jakarta Office in Finance Department and reports directly to the Senior Manager – Commercial. The Role of the Accountant is to take care of the treasury role to manage all banking and payment transactions and assist in account payable and invoicing payment and management. Senior accountant will also cover reporting role both for internal management and consolidated level.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance.
  2. Desirable have accounting certifications such as CA, CMA, and CPA will be a plus.
  3. Desirable have Brevet A and B Certification.
  4. More than 3 years of working experience in reporting, accounting, and finance.
  5. Understanding of accounting principles.
  6. Experience in reporting and financial statement preparation 
  7. Have good computer skills (Internet, E-mail, Microsoft Word).
  8. Have good communication skills.
  9. Self-motivated - able to work independently with accuracy and efficiency.
  10. Proactive, high attention to detail, and ability to work at a fast pace with accurate results.
  11. Desirable understanding of finance end to end business process.
  12. Desirable can communicate in English (written and verbally).
  13. Desirable have experience in Treasury function.

 

ENGINEER - TMF PROGRESS CONTROL (MPD 2204028)

This position will be based at Martabe Site in Martabe Project Development Department, and reports directly to the Senior Project Controller. The Role of the Engineer – TMF Progress Control is to control and monitor project of total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors, to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded. Including to assist Senior Manager/Manager to undertake breakdown of variation orders (VOs), support, and lead negotiation of proposal, provide comprehensive costing report in Pronto. Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of customer billing processes, etc. This position will be back to back with Senior Project Controller.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:

  1. Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering with specialization in Project Management or Cost Control related training.
  2. Desirable membership of Engineers Association.
  3. Desirable have POP Certification.
  4. Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant and similar capacity in project estimating and cost controlling.
  5. Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction field.
  6. Strong analytical and problem solving skills and meticulous.
  7. Mature, proactive, resourceful and hands-on with good initiative.
  8. Independent worker who is able to work well with minimal supervision.
  9. Appreciate deadline and work target.
  10. Desirable a good communicator.
  11. Desirable proactive in safety.
  12. Holding vaccines certificate (Vaccines 1 & Vaccines 2).
