Immediately Required

Position: Vice Kepala Teknik Tambang (KTT)

Work Location: Hu'u Project site, in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara
The position is a twelve-months contract under an outsourcing company and works on a 4/2 FIFO roster.
Purpose of the Role:
The objectives of the Vice KTT role are to develop and maintain the Hu'u project complies with GoI regulatory requirements and company standard then report to KTT on doing the duties relate following standard and regulation by ensure it comply. Back up the KTT while out of site.
Accountabilities:

  • Responsible to support Kepala Teknik Tambang (KTT)' task and replacement person to follow up duties especially while out of site.
  • To implementation the Good Mining Practice (GMP) and Mine Safe Management System (SMKP) based on standard
  • To control and establish a proper mining project base on Company and Gol regulatory requirements
  • Prepare the database and standard requirement for support project by report to KTT and relate stakeholder.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholder related implementation of operation standard and to produce a regulation for Site operation/Project.
  • Update GoI policies/regulation and ensure it follow up and meet the compliance
  • Maintain a filling system for data on compliance report
  • Monitor and assess the issues relate technical and non-technical
  • Willing to work on site with rotation roster.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in bachelor's degree in Technical, Environmental or Safety Science or any relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Mining/oil & gas industry; in coordinating and managing a mining project.
  • Minimum hold Pengawas Operasional Pertama (POP) License from Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi (Indonesian Professional Certification Authority).
  • Held Pengawas Operasi0nal Madya (POM) and Diklat Mining Safety Management System is preferable.
  • Having deep understanding and/or knowledge in government policy and regulation to conduct Good Mining Practice.
  • Demonstrated ability in establishing performance compliance reporting including data management.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and analysis the technical and non-technical issues.
  • Good communication and understanding both in Bahasa and English.

Position: Senior Operational Analyst

Work Location: Hu'u Project site, in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara
The position is a twelve-months contract under an outsourcing company and works on a 4/2 FIFO roster.
Purpose of the Role:
Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the Mineral Drilling Support projects with compliance to applicable SWP as well QC in managing the technical activities assuring project timeline and quality from conception to completion.
Accountabilities:

  • Prepare, coordinate, and monitor the assigned site operational support for Mineral Drilling Project.
  • Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
  • Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status.
  • Assign responsibilities and mentor project team including the team roster.
  • Review site engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
  • Identify operational requirements and opportunities for improvement by gathering information from observing workflows, reading company reports and determining appropriate methods to analyze operations, relevant information, and data.
  • Documenting findings, preparing reports, and making recommendations for in developing new processes and procedures to enhance operations.
  • Should operational work activities change, reduce or increase, perform other roles, work duties, activities and/or tasks, outside your normal PD and duties, as requested by your immediate Supervisor and/or management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering, Geology or Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant/similar capacity as Field Supervision in mining project, leading a small team for project construction or similar.
  • Provide planning and controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, fast adapt with high exposure to Site Remote Condition.
  • Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately.
  • Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with each function and other department heads.

Position: Site Project Engineer (TPBP)

Work Location: Hu'u Project site, in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara
The position is under PT Sumbawa Timur Mining and set to be permanent employee and works on a 4/2 FIFO roster.
Purpose of the Role:
This role is designed to assist with site support-based activities to advance the TPBP project. This role will assist with the safe mobilization of drilling, water, hydrology and engineering staff and equipment to site and assist with the set up and development of the TPBP project itself.
Accountabilities:

  • Provide site support for all activities related to liaison officer for the discussion and communication to site base PT STM HSE, Hydrology, Environment, Permit and HR.
  • Provide admin assistance and preparation of the mobilization for the project team member, contractor and other personnel involved in preparation and execution of TPBP - Hydro Pump Test Program.
  • Provide support and arranging travel, accommodation, and admin requirement (MCU, doctor, other paper works).
  • Provide a site guidance if there is any requirement to run a site check and survey.
  • Provide the site support if there is any information required from site as part of the design, study development, preparation, and execution.
  • Other site related tasks as part of TPBP program.

The objectives of the Compliance and Reporting Analyst role are to prepare compliance reporting to ensure the Hu'u project complies with all the GoI regulatory requirements as well as to monitor the government relation issues related, regulations and coordinate with relate department to provide data support and reporting for KTT.
Accountabilities:

  • Prepare compliance report for Hu'u Project based on Gol regulatory requirements and related department/agencies.
  • Prepare the database for support the KTT duties.

Position: Forestry Advisor

Work Location: Hu'u Project site, in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara
The position is a twelve-months contract under an outsourcing company and works on a 4/2 FIFO roster.
Purpose of the Role:
Forestry Advisor primary function is to assist the Forestry Leader in handling forestry permitting and fulfillment of obligations provincial and national levels. Independently supervise all contractor activity in the field and implement programs and ensure the effective use of resources to meet the current forest management objectives also meet government expectations to ensure the sustainability of permit granting of PPKH for PT Sumbawa Timur Mining.
Accountabilities:

  • Prepare document application for the PPKH (Borrow to Use Forest Permit).
  • Regularly advise the exploration project teams on forestry protection and management measures.
  • Assist Forestry Leader undertake audits and/or inspections at operational sites to ensure that forest permit compliance conditions are implemented effectively and in compliance with Indonesian legislative requirements.
  • Responsible to the measurement of logs, uploading of the records to the SIPPUH (Forestry Online System.
  • Responsible to monitoring the planting activity of the watershed rehabilitation/revegetation following technical guidance document/forestry regulations).
  • Provide Forestry semester report of Land Use and Annual compliance.
  • Responsible to Assist annual monitoring by related forestry agencies related to the fulfilment of the borrow and use permit's obligations.
  • Manage the tracking and implementation of the forestry permit conditions outlined in the PT STM Forestry Permit and manage the delivery of activities.
  • Liaise with the Related Forestry Agencies in Regency and Provincial Level,

Requirements:

  • At least 6 years' experience handling/supervising forestry activities, forestry reporting, rehabilitation and forestry studies/surveys on major mining, infrastructure, or energy projects.
  • Experience in delivering rehabilitation programs and coordinating field teams.
  • A sound technical knowledge and understanding of forest ecology and habitats in Indonesia (and preferably NTB Province).
  • Experience working on major extractive industry projects in Indonesia.
  • Knowledge of Indonesian forestry legislation.
  • Current or past certification as a GANIS-accredited forestry professional.

Position: Forestry Assistant

Purpose of the Role:
The objectives of the Forestry Assistant II role are to assist the forestry advisor and forestry staff in the field progress activities for forestry governance related the fulfillment of forestry obligations.
Accountabilities:

  • In conjunction with the Forestry Coordinator, optimize STM's current Forestry Administration / Management system.
  • Ensuring wood administration complies with forestry timber management obligations.
  • Collecting and processing data on affected trees monthly.
  • Coordinate with tree cutting contractor regarding recording affected trees.
  • Verifying online book measurement to define classifications of affected trees.
  • Inputting tree data collected during timber cruising and auditing of impacted trees into the data base.
  • Ordering, scanning, and printing tree barcodes.
  • Organize field activities related forestry obligations.
  • Other duties as required by the business.

Requirements:

  • University qualifications in forestry science, forestry management or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of forestry experience in a mining company, organize and supervise field team in conducting forest rehabilitation and reclamation following regulatory compliance and permitting.
  • Current or past certification as a GANIS-accredited forestry professional.
  • Possess experience in the use of GIS.
  • Possess a strong understanding of forestry issues related to the mining industry and Indonesian forestry legislation.
  • Possess knowledge of log measurement.
  • Possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
  • Possess computer skills and familiarity with standard office software.

Position: Procurement Analyst (Site Base)

Work Location: Hu'u Project site, in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara

Purpose of the Role:
This position will help with contract activities, vendor registration, and monthly procurement reports.
Accountabilities:

  • Perform daily contracting activities with regards to purchasing & service of materials and/or equipment requested by users ensuring that they are processed under company's standard and norms.
  • Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of incoming PR, adequacy of scope of work and any other appendices, develop and review RFQ, and supervise procurement process according to procurement procedures.
  • Working together with users to review the scope of work and provide guidance to ensure the contents meet the company's standards and norms.
  • Conduct pre-qualification before preparing Request for Quotation (RFQ) or tender document.
  • Study market reports, trade periodicals, and sales promotion materials.
  • Conduct analysis on contract and PO terms (technical, commercial, and legal terms).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management/Business Administration.
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience, preferably from mining exploration projects.
  • Strong knowledge & skills related to drilling/engineering study/site camp support/civil construction (FIDIC contract).
  • Familiar and able to work with local suppliers/community in a remote area (i.e., Dompu, NTB) - MANDATORY.
  • Strong knowledge & skill related to procurement process especially on sourcing & Contract/PO administration.
  • Strong knowledge & skills related to negotiation with the local supplier and problem-solving
  • Good English skill (verbal & written) is a must.

Position: OHS Engineer - Hydro Pumping Program

Work Location: Hu'u Project site, in Dompu, West Nusa Tenggara
The position is a twelve-months contract under an outsourcing company and works on a 4/2 FIFO roster.
Purpose of the Role:
Manages and facilitates the implementation of PT Sumbawa Timur Mining (STM) occupational health safety (OHS) management systems and other applicable safety rules & regulation on PT STM operation areas with a focus on the Hydro Pumping program.
Accountabilities:

  • Facilitates the implementation of PT STM OHS management system and Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan Pertambangan (SMKP), and auditing process associated with the applicable safety management system, including develops action plans in conjunction with stakeholders to address deficiencies identified during the audit process.
  • Ensures company's and other applicable safety rules & standards are fulfilled during work execution within company's premises.
  • Facilitates risk assessments for the Hu'u Project (project-wide and task-specific, with a focus on Hydro Pumping) with an emphasis on outlining practical controls that will reduce the impact, frequency and severity of risks.
  • Ensure that the projects OHS Task Management Plan / Annual Programs, Employee Training Matrix and competency register are updated and maintained to ensure employees have adequate skills and competencies to identify and control risks.
  • Assist in performing contractor HSE pre-qualifications and inspections prior to mobilization to site to ensure compliance with STM's minimum requirements and operational standards.
  • Undertake investigations of unplanned events (Accidents & Incidents) or significant near-misses and report the finding of investigations to relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyze incident reports to identify causal factors and share the key findings with staff members and contractors to heighten the knowledge and awareness of personnel in the hope that major accidents occurring in the workplace may be avoided.
  • Facilitates safety meetings, communications, trainings and campaigns at the workplace.
  • Undertake regular site visits, inspections and observations of operational sites and work areas to identify opportunities for improvement, corrective actions and to work with contractors to facilitate improvements.
  • Manages data, documents, records, reports, and trend analysis associated with occupational health & safety.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor (or equivalent) min GPA 3,00 in related position.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a role, preferable within underground mining and/or Mineral - with a focus on Hydrology, Hydrogeology on exploration projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good English skills (verbal & written) essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong knowledge & skill related to risk assessment method such as HIRA, JSA, MoC;
  • Familiar to facilitate incident investigation by using recognized investigation methodology.
  • Strong knowledge & skill related to Safety Management System Audit, preferable has SMKP auditor certificate.
  • Possess valid AK3 Umum, ToT (Train of Trainer) & POP (Pengawas Operasioanl Pratama)
