Adaro MetCoal

Adaro MetCoal, a subsidiary of Adaro Group of Companies, a leading group of coal mining companies in Indonesia, is looking for some qualified personnel to be based at our site as:

 

SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Engineering background with direct experience in port operations and stockpile (Bachelor's degree in relevant major will be advantageous).
• >5-year experience in a relevant role or laboratory operation, coal stockpile handling, and operation of river barging of bulk materials:
• POP Certification (POM Is advantageous).
• Knowledge of coal quality control, coal quality system management, basic coal analysis, & port operation personnel management,
• Good teamwork & interpersonal skills.
• Work Challenges: 
• Remote working area; sited 
• Extreme weather condition on site; 
• Interaction with coal hauler and heavy equipment when sampling at the stockpile; 
• Dusty sampling location.

 

HEALTH & SAFETY OPERATION SUPERVISOR

Qualifications:

• Occupational Health & Safety, Environment, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant majors with direct experience in mining operations safety (Bachelor's degree in relevant major will be advantageous):
• >5-year experience in Health & Safety Operations and exposure to best practices in OHS compliance, management & monitoring, and studies management system;
• POP & AK3 Umum Certification:
• Knowledge of safety & health management, operational safety, risk management, and environmental management,
• Good teamwork & interpersonal skills. 
• Work Challenges: 
• Remote working area;
• Extreme weather condition on site;
• Wide area of responsibility and activates in a remote & restricted location (hauling road > 70 km).

 

Civil, Road, & Special Operations Section Head
Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geology or related fields with relevant years of experiences,
2. >5-year experience in Open Pit Operations, hauling and / or road maintenance sector (preferably related to technical & execution aspects):
3. >3-year working experience as a technical assistant or supervisor in hauling and / or road sector:
4. >1-year experience in haul roads in a large mining operation as well as programming & planning of road construction & maintenance;
5. POP certified (POM is preferred);
6. Understanding the cost management processes, planning, and scheduling of projects.
7. Exposure to various road construction activates & solid knowledge on safety requirements & how to apply them:
8. Strong working knowledge of coal operations & equipment operations in mining or heavy industry,
9. Good teamwork & interpersonal skills.

Work Challenges:

• Remote working location with fluctuating weather condition;
• Maybe required to work in inclement weather conditions:
• Social and community issues; 
• Civil, geotechnical, & earth work experiences combined: 
• Working overtime with unusual work hours in response to emergencies & poor weather condition, 
• Most work is performed outdoor with frequent exposure to potential hazards when maintaining & constructing municipal infrastructure or road work operations.

 

STRATEGIC SOURCING OFFICER

Qualifications:

• At least D3 in Engineering / Economics / Business / Management;
• 4-year experience in Purchasing (experienced in handling tender of > USD 500k);
• €experience in mining industry;
• Willingness to travel to sites:
• English Proficiency & computer literacy;
• Negotiation & communication skills;
• Communication & team work.

Work Challenges:

• Remote site location; 
• Limited number of qualified local vendors;
• Limited logistic transportation access; 
• Users’ annual purchase planning is not accurate / available.

 

Corporate Finance Section Head

Qualifications

• S1 tin Accounting;
• >5 years experience as Business Analyst;
• >5 years experience as Finance Consultant,
• Advance skill in business analysis.
• Proficiency in operating MS Excel;
• Good interpersonal skill & teamwork

Work Challenges

• Very dynamic financial plan strategic investment initiatives which continuous change from time to time
• Number of Legal entitles i.e. 8 Coal Companies (AMC plus ATDI)
• Large of financial dimensions i.e. $640m in 2022 and $1.35b for next 5 year. 
• Different phase of AMC companies’ status LC, operation on hold for Lahai Coal, Operation in Maruwai Coal and resources development in other 5 Coal Companies
• Complex transitions 
• AMC 1s main asset of AMI which's a listed company high compliance standard to meet
