Adaro MetCoal, a subsidiary of Adaro Group of Companies, a leading group of coal mining companies in Indonesia, is looking for some qualified personnel to be based at our site in Central Kalimantan as:

 

Environment Manager

Qualifications:

1. S1 in Forestry /Agnculture / Environment or other relevant;
2. ≥ 8 years in managenal level of exploration, mining operation or environmental services;
3. ≥ 5 years Exposure to best practice in environmental management and monitonng, studies management system;
4. Knowledge of AMDAL & Environmental Regulations, particularly for coal mining;
5. POM Certification;
6. English Proficiency;
7. Good interpersonal & communication skills.

Work Challenges:

• Dynamic AMC business plan requires mandatory environmental supports at different stages requires to enable the execution;
• Implementation of environmental management system for exploration, construction and operation in a remote and restricted location;
• Remote working area, vast mine site area, & long hauling road;
• Extreme weather condition on site;
• Regular visit on various remote area for Watershed Rehabilitation.

 

ENVIRONMENT SUPERINTENDENT

Qualifications:

1. S1 Forestry /Agriculture / Environment,
2. 5-year experience in exploration, mining operations, or environmental services;
3. 5-year experience in performing best practices in environmental management & monitoring, & studies management system;
4. English Proficiency & good interpersonal skills
5. Familiarity with AMDAL & other environmental documents;
6. POP Certification (at the minimum)

Work Challenges:

• Adequately dynamic organization business plan & development requiring mandatory environmental support at different stages, 
• Implementation of environmental management system for exploration, construction, and operation in a remote and restricted location
