EOI - Superintendent Lifting Equipment (926797)

Some of your duties will include:
- Responsible for supervising crane & lifting activities and maintains the highest quality standards while administering good construction safety practices with all on-site activities
- Fundamental understanding of lifting parts, component management, cost and energy management saving
- Knowledge of plant & equipment ; auditing and reconcilliation skills
- Provide effective leadership and contribute to section goals and objectives
- Evaluate and monitor the skills level to meet standard and access training needs based on these evaluations
- Maintain current technical and competencies
- Develop personnel teaching skill and technical competence appropriate training/apprentice/develop activities
- Provide positive reinforcement behavior counselling session with lifting sites
About you
What skills and experience do you need?
- Bachelor level degree in Mechanical Engineering or Thiess Apprentice or extensive crane related experience
- Minimum 10 years experience in directly involved with rigging and crane operation, five of which must have been in a supervisory position
- Competent with load calculations and design and specification of rigging and engineering drawings
- Outlined rigging studies, method statement and risk evaluation. Formulated schedules and erection schemes
- Scrutinized rigging tools, tackles and color coding
- Manage training and recruitment of rigging personnel
EOI - Specialist Training Lifting (926796)

Some of your duties will include:
- To train & assess TCI employees within mining and construction projects in all aspects of lifting equipment: mobile crane, forklift, crane truck, telehandler, elevated work platform and overhead crane training, lifting study in order to achieve optimum safety best performance and maximum productivity with a high focus on safety
- To ensure that TCI lifting equipment training requirements are being conducted in accordance with the Thiess Governance System (TGS)
- Assist in the design of lifting equipment training material which is relevant to used competency standards
- Actively involved in maintain and monitor of training equipment used for training activities and provide report to superiors when noncompliance found
- Provide report and feedback of training activities to site supervision and TCI Training & Development supervisors in order to keep the alignment systems between training & development and sites
- Provide accurate report based on training report participants data to T&D Admin training in order to assist in database improvement
- Provide result of lifting equipment training to site superintendent, site training coordinator and TCI Training & Development Supervisors and Manager
- Conduct tests and examinations for lifting equipment personnel/operator
- Ensure all attained competencies are recorded in both hard and soft copy
- Develop the skills proficiency of workplace trainers and assessors
About you
What skills and experience do you need?
- Senior High School/vocational school or similar
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training (Trainer/Assessor certification by Government)
- Relevant License from Government (SIO) in Mobile Crane Class 1, Overhead Crane, Forklift, Crane Truck and other lifting equipment would be an advantage
- Minimum of 5 years' experience within the mining and/or construction industry as a mobile crane operator with Lifting equipment's OHS License (SIO) class I including other lifting support equipment: crane truck, overhead crane, forklift, telehandler and elevated work platform & others Lifting Equipment & Lifting activity (Rigging)
- Lifting Equipment competency, Rigging, Computer & English literacy
Officer Training (926772)

Some of your duties will include:
- To conduct training and assessment for off Highway truck modules CAT 785, CAT 777 and Komatsu HD 785 on driving simulator
- Carry out all maintenance tasks on Electrical, Electronic, electro-optical and mechanical equipment associated with the operation with the TCI driving simulator in order to contribute to the increase in safety, productivity, effectiveness and efficiency of Thiess Off Highway truck operators
- Coach and conduct site based operators in the access to, and the use of, TCI truck multimedia training CD-ROMS on CAT 789, CAT 785, CAT 777, and Komatsu HD 785 and others mining equipment simulator program
- Actively promote TCI courses to key site personnel ensuring that purpose and content of training is understood
- Ensure all assessments are recorded in both hard and soft copy
- Conduct tests and examinations as requested by superiors
- Actively involve in maintain and monitor of training equipment used for training activities and provide report to superiors when non compliance found
- Actively involve in update/review of training handout, PowerPoint slides, and written/practical assessment to TCI's TGS regulation, audit, investigation, customers need
- Budgeting for simulator operation & maintenance
- Assist in the design of training material which is relevant to use competency standards
- Competent to operate & maintenance of mining equipment simulator
- Provide report and feedback of training activities to site supervision and Training & Development Supervisors in order to keep the alignment systems between Training & Development and sites
- Provide accurate report based on training report participants' data to T&D admin training in order to assist in database improvement
- Provide result of training to Site Superintendent, Site Training Coordinator, and TCI Training & Development Supervisors and Manager

- Provide training to TCI employees & Sub Contractors in all aspects of heavy equipment
What skills and experience do you need?
- Senior High School/Vocational School, IT background, certificate IV in workplace training (Trainer/Assessor certification by Government)
- 3-5 years experience as haul truck operator and other mining equipment
- Heavy mining equipment operatorcodes including truck and/or excavator/dozer/grader/wheel loader/medium truck/light vehicle/other heavy mining equipment
- IT literacy (software and hardware)
Superintendent HR (926798)
(Melak)
Some of your duties will include:
- Assist Admin Manager, PM/Deputy PM to plan, lead, organize and control the role of staff HR, Training, Industrial relation, recruitment, Community Development, Security and Transportation
- Identify, conduct training programs, and develop appropriate human resource development programs in conjunction with the training department.
- Make HR reports, reports and liaison with manpower and monthly reports.
- Ensure all employee data up to date and accurate.
- Maintain HR Policy & Procedure accurately.
- Manage the process of performance review (PDR's)
- Manage the Medical Entitlements and Rehabilitation program.
- Maintain good communication contacts with governmental, union Leaders and others with respect to employee - Industrial Relations matters.
- Communication with Management, Superintendents and Supervisors.
- Contribute to the ongoing success and achievement of the HR activity and positive team work environmental at all times
- Monitor and evaluate performance of the security provide and its guards as well as advice management regarding security matters
- Maintaining close contacts with the Local Government, Manpower Department , Police Officials, Jamsostek, Army, Government Legislative to get support to solve the all the problem which related with community and employees.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, statutory obligations and Thiess policy.
- Avoid situations resulting in a conflict of interest, bribery or the use of inducements to secure business.
- Provide consultation and advice to all tine management with respect to Human Resource and Industrial Relation matters.

What skills and experience do you need?
- Graduated from Bachelor Degree in Management, Law, Economic, Business or Psychology.
- Having work experiences in same position in leading a team (3 years), Industrial Relations (8 Years) & Recruitment (2 years)
- Have a good understanding / proficient in contemporary HR Management Issues, Employee Legislation, Recruitment methodologies. Human Resource Information systems.
