Job Title: Field Mechanical Engineer - Static & Rotating

Balikpapan/Lawe-Lawe, 12 months

  • Local Indonesia
  • Willing to work in Balikpapan no rotation
  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in oil and gas and petrochemical project.
  • Experienced as Mechanical field supervisor especially for Major Mechanical Equipment such as steam Boiler, sphere tank, process vessels and others Mechanical equipment for Process and Utilities plant.
  • Expertise in API, ANSI, ASME, AWS, TEMA, NACE, ASTM
  • Able to to perform fields supervisory for Mechanical equipment installation and testing with a high level of quality.
  • Expertise in HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) Management System.
  • Expertise in the use of computer programs.
  • Good interface with COMPANY and Contractor and good coordination work to completed construction in mechanical activities in accordance with schedule requirements.

 

Job Title: Field Electrical Engineer

Balikpapan, 12 months

No rotation

Key accountabilities will be to lead the overall design and delivery of the electrical substation scope for refinery projects. As part of your HSSE accountabilities, you will be leading the safe design of the electrical substation scope, ensuring conformance to appropriate codes and standards.

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ (ten) years' experience oil and gas and petrochemical project (i.e. refinery project, petrochemical, and gas processing/ LNG).
  • Has professional certificate of competency in electrical power system
  • Has experience to developed Electrical design basis, conceptual design of underground facilities and standard drawings and controlled all the Electrical design activities through the project execution.
  • Worked in Electrical Distribution System including an integrated electrical power management system.
  • Worked as Lead Electrical Engineer
  • Has an excellent knowledge of current internationally recognized Codes and Standards (IEC, ANSI, API, NEMA, NFPA, NEC, NFPA 70, IEEE)
  • As an electrical substation engineer, you produce sketches and records, decide the appropriate cable size and type for each station, facilitate activities using application software for the engineering application, and manage efforts with team members.
  • Experience of projects (preFEED/FEED/detailed design, construction, installation and operations support)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across functions and within multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to define and priorities issues and solve problems through focused effort and networking with other team members or external sources
  • Ability to performance manage others (including. 3rd party engineering services providers) and support timely decision making

 

Position Title: Officer HSE

Requirements:

  • - Bachelor in Engineering
  • - 7+ years' experience of managing HSE or Work Permit systems in greenfield construction/ commissioning/ startup projects in Oil & Gas, Semiconductors, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals, Power Generation.
  • - Familiar with the following HSSE Methodologies and procedure in refinery ISBL & OSBL process units:
  • - Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) at site
  • - Preparation and implementation of relevant site HSSE procedure
  • - Hazardous waste management and control
  • - Air pollution management and control
  • - Noise management and control
  • - Radioactive radiation management and control

Job Descriptions:

  • - You will be responsible for the coordination of the work permits on the project. General responsibility for work authorization/permitting and defining the permit conditions within a facility remains under the Facilities Owner (FO).
  • - Assure project compliance with Permit-To-Work system.
  • - Check work permits for administrative items, such as if all required signatures are in place, if PPHA is available for the job, if the permit validity period complies with FO's defined time frame.
  • - Notify FO in case of a potential SIMOPS issues (e.g., work on the same equipment / area where other crews have open permits for).
  • - Review contractor work requests and ensure strict adherence to approval flow, timeframes, and other permitting requirements
  • - Ensures expired work permits are closed, cancelled or renewed as the case maybe
  • - Support contractors maintain compliance with the procedures and standards.
  • - Advise Monitor & Audit Permit-To-Work (PTW) activities.
  • - Operate permit system in areas simultaneous construction and commissioning activities
  • - Conduct site inspections, particularly high-risk activities that should be checked daily for adherence to PTW requirements.
  • - Mentor, train and develop trainees as and when assigned.
  • - Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment by following HES regulations and HES standards, policies and procedures.
  • - Set personal example to all employees regarding commitment and importance of PTW systems within the organization.
  • - Effectively integrate Permit-To-Work system into the project.
  • - Monitor and verify the effectiveness of the implementation and execution of the Permit-To-Work system.
  • - Ensure timely registration of permits to avoid delays in work.
  • - Perform administrative tasks as delegated by the FO
  • - Working as part of a project team to provide deliverables and meet deadlines

 

Job Title: Analyst Expediting & Custom Clearance Officer

Balikpapan 12 months

  • At least a Bachelor degree in Engineering/Logistics
  • 10+ years applicable experience in Procurement Oil&Gas/Refinery/Petrochemical.
  • Has experience in HSSE management system
  • To ensure the clearing of good from the Customs within the shortest possible time.
  • To ensure that Annual Customs Duty Exemption is obtained and applied for all applicable items
  • Oversee the overall assignments of the Air freight and Sea freight Customs Clearance Officers.
  • Prepare Customs Duty Exemption Form for materials and components, submit to the Ministry of Industry and Electricity, and get the approval.
  • Receive and verify necessary clearing documents from Foreign Purchase Officer, translate invoices, and forward them to the Customs Broker.
  • Follow-up with the Customs Brokers for clearance of imported items within the shortest possible time and/or the agreed time frame.
  • Request and get approval for payment of Customs Duty on non-exempted items. Forward the advance payment requests to Accounts for releasing the cheque.
  • Receive invoices from Custom Broker, scrutinize and get approval for payment from the Accounts Manager and passing it to Accounts.
  • Control and update quantity of exempted items in system in order to monitor the balance available quantities.
  • Follow up of customs duty refund claims from Customs authorities.
  • Follow up for the clearance of undertakings given related to imported materials clearance and keep proper records for all pending cases.
  • Prepare all documents for import shipments.
  • Observe all changes related to customs duty exemptions, tariff, etc., and act accordingly
  • Has a good medical record
  • Fluent in Communication and writing in English.

 

Job Title: Field Inspector

Balikpapan, 24 months, No rotation

  • Inspection and verification of both in process and completed work activities including witnessing construction/performance testing performed by construction or contractor as directed by the Assistant QA/QC Manager or Construction Manager or Commissioning Manager
  • Required to complete daily inspection reports/checklists and maintain records until time of turnover
  • Performs surveillances, assessments, or audit of Company or subcontractor
  • Develops reports for the Assistant QA/QC Manager or Construction Manager or Commissioning Manager on the status and quality of work accomplished. Reports include QC or related reports from subcontractor.
  • Supports and participates in HSE audits and assessments
  • Provides input to monthly Quality Report
  • Completes other responsibilities associated with this job as may be appropriate

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Naval Engineer
  • 5+ years as Inspector in Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical Plant
  • Valid Certification in MIGAS Inspection
  • For Marine/Offshore Inspector:
    • Experience in Marine Vessel Inspection
  • For I & C Inspector:
    • Experience in Electrical & Instrumentation engineering with specific in design and planning for Electrical Power Generating System, Power System Analysis (ETAP Software Program) System, RFCC, Hydrotreating, reforming, and hydrocracking plant include Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) and Emergency Shutdown System (ESD)

 

Job Title: Civil Construction Field Engineer

Jakarta, 6 months

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 8+ years experience in onshore oil and gas engineering design (at least have one exposure experience in onshore site preparation works)
  • Exposed to various phases of engineering design (Conceptual/FEED/DED)
  • Having good knowledge of Site preparation works, temporary construction facilities, accommodation camps, and Industrial Buildings
  • Involvement during bidding stage as part of construction & quality management system to select subcontractor who will carry out the work both temporary & permanent work
  • Writing capability to prepared construction documents such as Requisition Document, Technical Bid Evaluation, Construction Execution Plan, Construction Method, Constructability Study.
  • Able to explain design ideas and plans clearly in presentations to Clients.

 

Job Title: Field QAQC Engineer

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering
  • Certified Welding Inspector
  • Qualified NDT in PT and MT
  • Trained and knowledge of UT and RT
  • Knowledge of applicable international codes including ASME, AWS, API, ASNT, etc.
  • Good English understanding and communication

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years working
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in coal-fired steam power plant
  • Experience in boiler proper piping / other power piping inspection and testing

  • Bachelor's Degree of Engineering.
  • 7+ years working experience as Project Engineer for EPC company. has extensive experience in the development of work packages and writing up EPC scope of work.
  • Well conversant in evaluating complex EPC offerings against pre-determined scope (preferably familiar with the nature of EPC SOW and its requirements).
  • Familiar to arrange coordination within the department to deliver engineering phase, it would be beneficial if the candidate has experience in Engineering project for mining.

 

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer II

Surabaya, 12 months

This contractor position will be located initially in Yokohama, Japan and then transfer to the project site near Surabaya, Indonesia

Provide technical advice and guidance for all phases of assigned large/complex mechanical engineering projects and programs, ensuring the successful conclusion of all phases within an appropriate time and at appropriate cost.

  • Apply working knowledge of engineering principles to assigned engineering projects, using sound engineering, data measurement & collection, calculations, analysis, interpretation and problem solving.
  • Review, interpret, comment and approve mechanical engineering deliverables. Review reports for mechanical design projects and provide recommendations to site team and to project consultants.
  • Lead the mechanical efforts on large/complex engineering projects, which may include the development of new or modification to existing systems and processes, including the responsibility of approving work from other engineering disciplines.
  • Manage projects and serve as a mechanical subject matter expert (SME) on large/complex projects.
