1. POSITION : Yard Project Construction Manager

- Capability to coordinate the project Quality activities through definition and monitoring of implementation by Project team of Project Quality Plan, Quality Control Plans and Project Quality Procedures, guaranteeing compliance with contractual requirements and ISO 9001 Standard.
- Knowledge of relevant construction discipline
- Capability to define project scope in order to meet the needs and expectations of the interested parties (especially clients and users.)
- Knowledge of the process of preparing, evaluating, negotiating and proposing contractual documentation concerning partners, suppliers and customers
- Definition, knowledge ,understanding and application of HSE procedures and Project requirements for all project phases
BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- Participate to the coordination of production project activities in yard, ensuring correct information flow between Yard Project Managers and Production department
- Support Yard Project Managers in the identification of technical solutions
- Represent Production during interactions with client
- Participate to HSE initiatives involving client representatives in the yard
- Promote project safe works practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety and quality standards are respected
- Participate in project planning and scheduling, liaising for this purpose with other organizations and functions involved in executing the project and assuring the most suitable solutions in terms of construction methods
- Plan and control project production tools, equipment and personnel needed to execute fabrication projects' activities
- Ensuring overall resource optimization
- Participate, insofar as within remit and in liaison with HSE, in the preparation of the general HSE Plan, the HSE Plan for the project construction and the HSE Manual for the activities within own area of responsibility
- Participate, insofar as within remit and in liaison with Quality, to project quality control and project quality improvement activities
- Prepare project production personnel mobilization plan
- Participate to the updating of project work schedules
- Assure that the project procedures defined for site activities are applied
- Supervise the project works performed by both subcontractors or in direct hiring, approving production work progress
- Check project production work progress, identifying any critical aspects and, where construction activities are
- subcontracted, requesting necessary actions from the subcontractor concerned
- Ensure project coordination of all disciplines involved in the work up to Pre commissioning / Mechanical Completion
- Assist the Commissioning department during project commissioning and start-up phases (when applicable)
- Contribute to continuous improvement process through the provision of suggestions regarding methodologies, tools, material management
- Optimize project layouts, material flow and workplace ergonomics
- Ensure respect of order and cleanness of production spaces
- Participate in the definition of project production and maintenance plan interacting with responsible department

- Knowledge of EPIC process workflow and deliverables (Engineering-Procurement-Construction-Installation-hook up).
- Project Analysis and Reporting
- Knowledge of applicable standards linked to the project planning processes.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTIONS
- Support the Project Manager in coordinating specific technical and management topics, i.e. project internal and external interface management, contractual document issue and review, project activity planning, data analysis and report preparation, subcontractor and supplier management, preparing Project Record Books, managing spare parts, collecting certifications, supplier payments, SAP data entry, with specific responsibilities especially during the close-out phase
- During the Feasibility Phase:
- Develop techno-economic models of industrial complexes including Linear Programming (LP) techniques
- Prepare appropriate economic evaluation reports to evaluate technologies to be applied in specific projects or to evaluate the relevant competitive advantage
- During the Bidding Phase, as requested by the Project Manager:
- Analyze tender and contractual documents in order to review scope of work and schedule and to identify project requirements and constraints
- Support in the preparation of the Project Execution Plan and the project Organization Charts
- Prepare bid cost estimate of project management, construction and services, including staff, manpower, construction equipment/consumables and subcontracts
- Assist the commercial team in the selection of the reference sub-contract quotation to be included in the bid cost estimate
- During the Project Execution Phase, as requested by the Project Manager:
- Assist the Project Manager during project activity planning, e.g. in the preparation of the Execution Plans and other project procedures and Plans, in the definition of the resource allocation and of the assets and materials utilization, in the preparation of sub-contracting plans, in the assessment of the man-hours required in order to prepare/update the mobilization plan, in preparing reports relevant to resources mobilization
- Under instructions of project manager, coordinate specific topics, related to but not only, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, project Record Book Spare Parts, etc.
- Coordinate external and internal interfaces
- Assist in managing Client relationships
- Assist in managing Vendors activities
- Assist in coordinating the invoicing and guarantee activities
- Assist in managing change orders and claims
- Support Project Manager to coordinate Risk Analysis
- Support the Project Management in purchase requisitions, technical evaluations, purchase order and work orders and related work progress within own field of competence
