Procurement Analyst

Purpose of the Role:
Prepare and proceed the tender to source services within the targeted service level. Tender process shall comply to the PT Vale Indonesia Procurement Norm, meet with customer requirements at the optimal cost. Establish good communication between users and suppliers, prepare and control tender process and documentations to achieve the most effective process, and ensure that all processescomply with PT Vale Indonesia ethical and business conduct.
Accountabilities:
- Ensure that EHS requirements in contracts are properly researched and approved and are appropriate to PTVI requirements. Strive to ensure that EHS requirements are fully recognized by contractors and establish direct communication with EHS department in the event of any discrepancy or lack of adherence, by any party, that has not been immediately responded to by the contract sponsor or contract manager.
- Prepare tender package (Project, operational or Maintenance) by ensuring that all requirementsfrom requestor are addressed.
- Ensure appropriate standard methodology for evaluation of tenders is communicated to sponsor.
- Assist sponsor with establishment of criteria and weightings for evaluation matrix. Ensure that tender clarification process is fully documented and communicated in accordance with tender instructions
- Leading the negotiation process to ensure that the Company will get the optimal price, while at the same time ensuring the compliance of the tendering process.
- Attending regular users’ meeting and acts as procurement representative in providing services and collect users’ feedback for continuous improvement of procurement services.
- Provide comprehensive, accurate documents and auditable (electronic and/or manual record system) for all contract. Ensure that critical documents related to monitoring compliance with contract conditions are provided to administration section.
- Promote the compliance of PT Vale Indonesia business conduct to suppliers and users through his/her communication and interaction and day to day basis.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering from reputable university/institution.
- Knowledge and having minimum 3 year of experiences in Project Management would be an advantage.
- Excellent skill in Excel and Access with good understanding of ERP-SAP.
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English both written and spoken.
- Team worker, having good integrity and be able to work under pressure.

Purpose of the Role:
In terms of Mechanical and civil engineering knowledge, the employee will observe energy-efficient design solutions, energy conservation measures, technology upgrades analysis including new renewable energy opportunities feasibility study with good quality of deliverables, meets company standards and National & International codes standards.
Accountabilities:
- Assist in engineering design, construction project, start-up/turnover, and subsequent Operations & Maintenance procedures in PTVI related to energy project.
- Support energy audit program within PTVI’s operation to achieve energy efficiency program and company associated target/ KPI’s.
- Identify and analyze energy consumption & performance of power plants (hydroelectric, steam turbine generators & diesel generators) and auxiliary plants (water, steam & air) for energy and cost efficiency.
- Provide simple analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to communicate simple technical energy-use concepts to non-technical and non-financial people to sustain and continuously improve energy project management.
- Develop graphical representations of energy data consumption using engineering software to get accurate information of SWAP energy consumption.
- Assist technical support within PT Vale Indonesia to develop effective and efficient energy design solution and technology upgrade.
- Assist feasibility study and analyze awareness of energy efficiency and renewable energy opportunities at PTVI operation to determine energy use or potential energy savings.

Technical Specializations:
- Knowledge of energy engineering principles to find engineering solution of energy efficiency.

Supvr Mineral Resources Inventory (Frontline Manager)

Purpose of the Role:Manage the activities of mineral resources modelling - estimation and mineral resources inventories and studies within PTVI CoW in order to provide updated mineral resources required for Mineral Resource and Mineral Reserve (MRMR) reporting as a basis for exploration, long term corporate strategic growth programs and existing operation Life of Mine (LOM) support, including Feasibility Studies and other government reporting in accordance with mineral resources modelling and estimation industrial best practices standard and Vale corporate guidelines.
Accountabilities:
- To manage the data validation process prior to mineral resources modeling and estimation activities in order to maintain and improve the quality and reliability of resources model and estimation products in accordance with industrial best practices standard.
- To supervise and to control the mineral resources modeling and estimation activities in order to be timely performed and meet with industrial best practices standard and corporate guidelines and auditable by Vale Base Metals Resource Management Group as well as independent external auditor(s).
- To ensure the block modeling and estimation process are well documented in log book and technical reports, and to ensure the peer review (internal PTVI and external by RMG) performed in order to get these processes auditable for both MRMR purposes as well as other project audit purposes.
- To establish block models to be used as the basis for mine planning (Life of Mine – LOM), exploration strategy, MRMR reporting and mine development.
- To develop studies related to estimation best practices and application of Geostatistics to improve the block modeling and estimation quality in order to support mine production and project development in all PTVI’s CoW.
- To assist the Responsible Person/Qualified Person in preparation of annual PTVI’s Mineral Resource and Mineral Reserve (MRMR) reporting to the public through the stock exchanges to comply with the Canadian National Instrument of 43-101 standards.
- To manage the required technical services to support the groups of Exploration, Project Development, Mine Engineering (LTP, STP), grade controls well as tenement mineral resources studies to be able to get optimum information and clarity from block models and exploration data.
- To lead and to build strong mineral resources inventory geologist group as well as to support geologist’s competencies and professional development program by providing continuous mentoring in the resources modeling - estimation and geostatistics in order to be aligned with current geological work standard practices, Exploration department standards and Vale guidelines.

- Permanent employee with minimum 5-7 years working experience, of which minimum 5 years in resources modelling and estimation.
- Mandatory Professional Geologist Certification (IAGI or Perhapi or MAusiMM).
- Preferable to have Competent Person Indonesia (CPI) in Exploration Result and Mineral Resources Estimation Reporting.
- Mandatory POP safety supervisor certification.
- Preferable POM certification.
