Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources. The mine covers an area of 30 km2 that falls under the sixth generation of Contract of Work (CoW) covering a total area of 1.303 km2.
Mineral Resources as of June 30, 2020, reached 7.6 million ounces of gold and 66 million ounces of silver. Production began at Martabe on 24 July 2012. The operating capacity of the Martabe Gold Mine is exceeds 6 million tonnes of ore per year to produce more than 300.000 ounces of gold and 2-3 million ounces of silver per year.
PTAR employs more than 3,000 employees and contractors, over 99% of whom are Indonesian nationals, and more than 70% of whom are recruited from local residents.
The majority shareholder in PTAR is PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara, which is owned by PT United Tractors, Tbk (60%) and PT Pamapersada Nusantara (40%), with a total share of 95%. PT United Tractors Tbk is a public company whose shares are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and also subsidiary of PT Astra International Tbk. PT United Tractors, Tbk’s share ownership consists of 59.50% by PT Astra International Tbk and 40.50% by the public. PT. Pamapersada Nusantara is 99.9% owned by PT United Tractors, Tbk.
To strengthen the existing maintenance management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for a candidate to fill the role:
This position will be based at Martabe Site, and reports directly to the Superintendent – Project Development Metallurgy.
The role of the Senior Metallurgist – Projects is to provide support on all aspects of metallurgical assessments (and other related technical areas) for projects being considered by MPD/PTAR. Provide metallurgy support in the studies (evaluation) and project phases to identify, test and confirm potential process solutions for PTAR. Develop and manage testwork programs as assigned by the Project Metallurgy Superintendent and Senior Advisor (Metallurgy Projects). Assist with project delivery and implementation of metallurgical projects within the MPD, where required; assist with all facets of project studies and project delivery and execution within MPD as directed by Senior Advisor (Metallurgy Projects). Involved with development of key innovative projects that provides ongoing continuous improvement and optimisation of key systems and process within the current and future metallurgical plant.
