BIODIVERSITY & RECLAMATION SUPERINTENDENT

Archi Indonesia is an Indonesian based pure gold mining company, with a focus on gold in Indonesia, with the head quarter in Jakarta. Our subsidiaries in Manado - North Sulawesi, PT. Meares Soputan Mining (MSM) and PT. Tambang Tondano Nusajaya (TTN) at Tokatindung Project Site - are currently seeking below professional in order to support our seamless operation:

BIODIVERSITY & RECLAMATION SUPERINTENDENT (CODE : BRS-III/21)

(Location : Toka Tindung)

Duties :

• Develop a biodiversity expertise in the biodiversity section of Environment department so that it can independently carry out programs and undertake projects that enhance biodiversity on the mine site and in the surrounding communities;
• Efficiently manage resources and facilities;
• Conducting detailed site assessments specifically in soil assessments and vegetation identification.
• Managing site draining and implementing soil erosion and sediment control measures.
• Contributing to reclamation planning and permitting, including preparing conceptual reclamation plans, reclamation and closure plans, and five-year plans.
• Planning and implementing reclamation research, monitoring and operational reclamation programs on disturbance areas.
• Advising employees, stakeholders and public audiences about environmental management, reclamation or conservation efforts.
• To improve community awareness and encourage and support landowner and community participation in recovery planning and on-ground activities;
• Assist staff in developing effective partnerships with other organisations including government and scientific organisations to develop a shared commitment to planning, coordination and delivery of biodiversity programs;
• Assist Staff in increasing community awareness and encourage community involvement and engagement in bio diversity;
• Assist Staff in communicating Biodiversity plans with Management team and harness skills within the Company for the BAP.

Requirements :

1. Relevant Tertiary qualifications essential (preferably a Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering/Forestry);
2. Have 5 years (or more) of relevant (including international) experience in Biodiversity Management, preferably with demonstrated practical experience in the extractive industry or with other relevant practical experience;
3. Have POM (Pengawas Operasional Madya) Certification;
4. An exceptional interest in biology, biodiversity, forestry and the environment;
5. Demonstrable and practical experience in the following: design, implementation and management of biodiversity programs; biodiversity monitoring and evaluation and implementation reclamation and mine closure programs;
6. Have experience in Environmental Management System (ISO14001) ;
7. Familiar with Software ArcGIS, GPS, MapInfo dan AutoCAD;
8. Have experience in liaising with government agencies and scientific bodies(national and local);
9. Able to work with and persuade Community groups;
10. Have skill in Contract development and management;
11. Demonstrated knowledge in Indonesian laws and regulations;
12. Demonstration knowledge and understanding of Equator Principles and other relevant risk management frameworks;
13. Demonstrated team and/or people management skills;
14. Understanding of Compliance and Risk management, Safety Culture and Management of Environmental Auditing are essential;
15. Able to demonstrate the awareness of corporate safety & environment.
