WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR-COAL MINING

Job Description:

• Responsible to manage all activities in site supply chain warehouse
• Responsible to monitor the issue at supply chain warehouse and provide an immediate strong corrective actions
• Responsible to maintain continuous improvement -achieve KPI targets and set up achievable yearly target
• To ensure that all materials issued from store must be traceable using MRF , correct part number and cost code completed with approval as signature specimen
• Coordinate and do monitoring all warehouse activitiesto ensure the correct location, stock store level maintenance, monitoring fuel and oil issuing -ensure all running well
• Ensure process of receipting and dispatching inventory are following corporate procedure. Site warehouse ensure all document match with physical item
• Take part and controlling all supply chain monitoring report and fix the discrepancy (APWF -GRNV)
• Supervise various receiving, order filling and shipping, loading and unloading material, systems related grief resolution and storage of material.
• Supervising hourly personnel to ensure completion of assignments in a timely manner.
• Drive team to identify continuous improvement ideas and engage support functions to implement the same.
• Collaborate with plant teamto identify improvement opportunities for supplier supplied parts preservation.
• Ensuring components/goods are received, packaged, stored and issued in an efficient, safe, timely manner.
• Investigate root causes and perform corrective action to resolve the problems identified.
• Responsible to support and achieve 100% Supply Chain -Logistics PQVC (People Quality Velocity Cost) targets.
• Implement various initiatives such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Internal Certification, etc

Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor's degree, preferably in supply chainandlogistics management,
• At least 5years of job experience in warehousing and having knowledge of various warehouse management systems.
• At least 5years in a people leadership role with strong people management qualities.
• Having knowledge in 6 Sigma green beltor ERP system such as SAP.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organizational and communication skills.
• Material distribution experience
• Knowledge of material handling equipment
