1. Job Title: Expat - Project Field Engineer Manager

Balikpapan/Lawe-Lawe 41 months

  • Able to work on multiple projects of various size and complexity.
  • Able to work effectively in small to large multidisciplinary teams, and share and transfer knowledge within teams.
  • Previous technical, practical and leadership experience in the relevant discipline and proven experience in leading a discipline design group
  • Approximately, 15 years minimum industry experiences (Oil & Gas)
  • A recognized degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent qualification/experience (preferable civil)
  • Chartered Professional Engineer Status

HSE Management

  • Maintains HSE focus within the team to ensure OHSE requirements included in design and procurement.

2. Job Title: Expat - Lead Cost/Estimator

Timika, 12 months

Summary:

Plan, coordinate, implement, and execute corporate InEight Hard Dollar estimating software and provide all estimating and proposal deliverables for right-of-way ("ROW") and Power Delivery projects with all types of contracts ranging from time and materials, unit price, and lump sum while providing technical and administrative direction to ensure division, group, and corporate objectives are met while developing and maintaining lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.  Executes our Core Values and Priorities - Integrity, Safety, Quality, and Production to guide our business practices that ensures P&J is committed to a Zero Incident Philosophy of no harm to person, property, the environment, or our reputation.

Requirements:

  • KITAS Holder is preferable
  • Extensive knowledge of estimating software such as InEight Hard Dollar or HCSS Heavy Bid; InEight Hard Dollar Experience is Preferred
  • Knowledge of design, estimating, construction, finance, and management.

Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards and activities.   

  • Accounting (math and recordkeeping) to include the ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts and operations as needed to examine construction operations including algebra, geometry, and trigonometry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in utilizing Google Earth, Esri ArcGIS, Bluebeam Revu, ShareFile, FTP Sites, and similar software; Esri ArcGIS Experience is Preferred.
  • Effective communication (oral, written, presentation, listening).
  • Effective motivational and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks.
  • Expected to relocate to the Austin, Texas regional office.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record (MVR)
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical specifications, drawings, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Five (5) or more years' experience in similar construction estimating, cost control, or management role with related functions plus thorough knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts is required.
  • Ability to estimate all types of projects/contracts plus the ability to coordinate and supervise group work is essential.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • May directly supervise up to 3 team members.
  • Assist in establishing bid teams, pre-bid meeting attendance, making work assignments, and implementing / monitoring the progress of estimates and proposals.
  • Mentoring of junior estimating team members.

 

3. Job Title: Material Handling Supervisor

Timika, 12 months

  • Monitoring and control the contractor and subcontainer Material management execution according to Contactor Material Management Execution Plan.
  • Create VRMS and HMAF/OSH form for Contractors on system
  • Monitor Owner Purchased Materials from suppliers to Offsite facilities,
  • Monitor and control Project Materials (Owner Purchased and Contractors Materials) from Offsites to Cargo dock onsite,
  • Monitor and control Project Materials (Owner Purchased and Contractors Materials) scheduled by MCG/GSC from Cargo dock on site to Portsite and to MP32 laydown,
  • Monitor and control Project Materials (Owner Purchased and Contractors Materials) from Portsite Jetty to PSPP laydown,
  • To followup OSDR (over short damage Report) to Project Procurement to close out
  • To expedite the Urgent Owners Purchased materials to Procurement.
  • Processing Project's Material Request (MR) for Reservation, Procurement and PTFI Inter Departments services
  • Monitor and control MRs to close out, including back charging reporting to Project Contract Group
  • Monitor and control Backloads containers, Backloads for Owners and Vendor Materials from PSPP laydown to Cargo Dock and from MP32 laydown to Cargo dock
  • Monitor and control Scrap materials according to Project instruction and regulations
  • Organizing with KPI for the Barge and handling Equipment utilization at Portsite to support the Project requirement
  • Recording, Filing and Reporting.
  • Handover document, materials to operation.
  • Preparation to Close out the PSPP Projects
  • 5 years' experience in materials handling field with bachelor's degree or 10 years' experience with a high School Diploma
  • Computer skills such as Microsoft Word, excel, power point, SAP systems.

 

4. Job Title: Assistant Manager HSSE

Balikpapan 36 months

No rotation

Requirements:

  • Willing to work in Balikpapan with no rotation
  • Bachelor of Environmental or other related degree of Engineering.
  • 10 years applicable experience in the control of major oil and gas production facilities projects.
  • Experienced as HSSE Lead in ISBL & OSBL Process Unit, Utilities and Underwater
  • Experienced in Performing Coordination with Client and Construction Site HSSE Issues in ISBL & OSBL Process Unit, Utilities and Underwater
  • Experienced in Performing Construction Sites Safety Management and Establishment of HSSE management plan & procedures
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant internationally recognized Codes and Standards.
  • Has working knowledge for computer programs application in design activities.
  • Expertise maintaining effective relationship with COMPANY and Contractor and good coordination work to completed engineering activities in accordance with schedule requirements.

 

5. Job Title: Field Surveyor (QS) Refinery

Balikpapan 24 months 5 personnel

Job description:

  • Verify Bill of Quantities including Quantity take‐off refer to Construction Drawing
  • Join Survey with Contractors to verify progress claims submitted by Contractors.
  • Liaise with Contractor's QS on progress payments and variation orders.
  • Measurement, TakingOff of Quantities, familiar with Bill of Quantities, etc.
  • Identify additional and subtraction of quantities
  • Assist Project Reporting Coordinator in monitoring physical progress
  • Attend Site Meetings and take charge of all clients' request / feedbacks

Requirements:

  • Willing to work in Balikpapan
  • Expertise in Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical Project.
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Control Systems Engineering
  • 7+ years experiences in Construction Stage
  • Responsible, selfmotivated and enthusiastic
  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Good communication and written skills in English
  • Able to read Construction Drawing
  • Knowledge in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Preferable from Balikpapan Area and nearby

 

6. Job Title: Field Mechanical Engineer - Stationary Equipment

Balikpapan/Lawe-Lawe, 24 months

  • Local Indonesia
  • Willing to work in Balikpapan no rotation
  • Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
  • 7+ years of experience in oil and gas and petrochemical project.
  • Experienced as Mechanical field supervisor especially for Major Mechanical Equipment such as steam Boiler, sphere tank, process vessels and others Mechanical equipment for Process and Utilities plant.
  • Expertise in API, ANSI, ASME, AWS, TEMA, NACE, ASTM
  • Able to to perform fields supervisory for Mechanical equipment installation and testing with a high level of quality.
  • Expertise in HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) Management System.
  • Expertise in the use of computer programs.
  • Good interface with COMPANY and Contractor and good coordination work to completed construction in mechanical activities in accordance with schedule requirements.

 

7. Job Title: Field Piping Engineer Refinery

Balikpapan 24 months

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 7+ years' experience oil and gas and petrochemical project (i.e. refinery project, petrochemical, and gas processing/ LNG).
  • Has Experience in the field supervisory of pipelines installation including pipeline routing, sizing, isometric, materials selection, corrosion protection and tiein procedures.
  • Has an excellent knowledge of current internationally recognized Codes and Standards such as: API, ANSI, ASME, AWE, NACE, ASTM
  • Has a proven ability to perform Piping installation and testing with a high level of quality in gas processing plants and utility facilities
  • Has experience in HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) Management System.
  • Working knowledge in the use of computer programs.
  • Had maintained effective relationship with COMPANY and CONTRACTOR and good coordination work to completed piping installation activities in accordance with schedule requirements.
  • Has ability in quality management and schedule and manhour control of the Piping installation work
  • Fluent in Communication and writing in English

 

8. Job Title: Field Electrical Engineer Refinery

Balikpapan, 24 months

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Has 55 (fiftyfive) years old
  • 10+ (ten) years' experience oil and gas and petrochemical project (i.e. refinery project, petrochemical, and gas processing/ LNG).
  • Has professional certificate of competency in electrical power system
  • Has a wide range of experience in the Electrical engineering with specific in design and planning for Electrical Power Generating System, Power System Analysis (ETAP Software Program) System, Power
  • Has experience to developed Electrical design basis, conceptual design of underground facilities and standard drawings and controlled all the Electrical design activities through the project execution.
  • Has Experience in Electrical Distribution System including an integrated electrical power management system.
  • Has Experience as Lead Electrical Engineer
  • Has an excellent knowledge of current internationally recognized Codes and Standards such as:
    • International Electrotechnical Commission ( IEC)
    • American National standards Institute (ANSI),
    • American Petroleum Institute (API),
    • National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA),
    • National Fire Protection association (NFPA)
    • National Electric Code (NEC, NFPA 70),
    • Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE)
  • It has been the principal engineer responsible for the design, analysis and review for Electrical systems. in gas processing plants and utility facilities
  • Has a proven ability to perform Electrical engineering include study, calculation in Electrical System with a high level of quality.
  • Working knowledge in the use of computer programs (latest electrical engineering software i.e ETAP) applicable to such designs
  • Had maintained effective relationship with COMPANY and CONTRACTOR and good coordination work to completed engineering activities in accordance with schedule requirements.
  • Has a good medical record
  • Fluent in Communication and writing in English

 

9. Job Title: Field ICSS Engineer Refinery

Balikpapan 24 months

  • At least a Bachelor of Science degree in Instrument/Control Engineering
  • 7 (seven) years' experience oil and gas and petrochemical project (i.e. refinery project, petrochemical, and gas processing/ LNG).
  • Has a wide range of experience in the Instrument/Control engineering with specific in design and planning for Instrument/Control especially for RFCC, hydrotreating, reforming, and hydrocracking plant include Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) and Emergency Shutdown System (ESD)
  • Has experience to develop Instrument/Control design basis, conceptual design of Instrument/Control and standard drawings and controlled all the Instrument/Control design activities through the project execution.
  • Has Experience in Major Instrument/Control system design.
  • Has Experience as Lead Instrument/Control Engineer
  • Has an excellent knowledge of current internationally recognized Codes and Standards such as API, ANSI, ISA, IEC, NEMA, NFPA, NEC, NFPA 70, IEEE, and ICEA.
  • It has been the principal engineer responsible for the design, analysis and review for Instrument/Control systems. in gas processing plants and utility facilities
  • Has a proven ability to perform Instrument/Control engineering include study, calculation in Instrument/Control System with a high level of quality.

10. Job Title: Field Start-Up Engineer Refinery

Balikpapan, 24 months, 3 personnel

  • To effectively manage and provide technical direction to their Commissioning Engineering team or teams to assure the design integrity of a specific project or projects including team performance within stated budget and schedule constraints.
  • Overseeing the commissioning activities in the interior in a safe manner, within budget, on time and in accordance with the applicable Company Procedures and Technical Specifications
  • Review the scope of construction and identify any possible anomalies during construction.
  • Input commissioning expertise into the design process.
  • Monitor the HSE performance of all commissioning contractors in the area (against the Departmental, Project or Contract HSE Plan) and to ensure that all work sites under his control are operating in a safe manner.
  • Plan for station or part of station startup and shutdown with Operations.
  • Review markedup as built drawings (PEFS) of the completed construction before commissioning and handover to Operations. Highlight any deviations from the original design to the Head of Construction.
  • Manage Vendors field or specialist commissioning engineers.
  • Ensure discipline personnel consistently work within the Quality Management System.
  • Provides early notice of, and work with the project management team to resolve, any impediments to the engineering process.
  • Encourage intradiscipline and interdiscipline communication, to facilitate effective project collaboration. In particular, establish good communications with the project management team.
  • Able to deal professionally, fairly and ethically with third parties such as vendors and contractors with due regard to commercial and contractual responsibilities.
  • Promote the understanding and application of risk management techniques within the discipline.
  • Monitor the installation progress against the schedule and ensure that any required commissioning activities are planned and scheduled appropriately.
  • Prepare and issue commissioning work packs in a timely manner for offshore and discipline review, as per the planned schedule.
  • Compliance with project HSE and Quality management plans - All assigned actions completed before due date or ASAP.
  • Must Have:
  • Degree in an engineering discipline (B.Sc)
  • Minimum of 10 years on site commissioning experience (Oil and Gas )
  • Must have sound basic skills in all branches of commissioning management.
  • Good knowledge of onsite HSE Management.
  • Familiar with design and engineering standards. Read and understand drawings (PEFS).
  • Having minimum 5 years experiences in refinery / petrochemical projects
  • Will be a plus if having minimum 2 years experiences in PMC
  • Expertise in NHT, Water Treatement, Offsite, or Tankage
