ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST - J Resources

J Resources is an Indonesian owned, intermediate gold producer, as measured by global output. We produce ~200,000oz per annum, derived mainly from our operating Indonesian assets. We operate, mine and understand low grade-gold deposits and heap leach systems.

We are currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the following role for our Jakarta HO:

ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

Responsibilities:

• To conduct monthly financial closing for projects and corporate activities, asset accounting, inventory accounting, etc. to ensure financial transaction data closing in line with Company policy and procedures and accounting standard and manage qualified quarterly financial statement variance analysis report to provide variance analysis within the timeframe; propose accounting report for corporate and administrative activities and project activities; to ensure accounting report availability and submission within the timeframe and accounting report is accurate and reliable as a base of taking decision.
• To create and maintain financial transaction records for projects activities and financial services transaction record, assist invoice verification and approval status for project transaction; maintain chart of account implementation in the accounting system, conduct required cost analysis and provide solution on accounting issues; to ensure accounting records compliance to the prevailing rules and regulations, and the records are valid and updated as a base of taking decision.
• To liaise with external Audit;to ensure proper control on budget expense and budget variance within tolerate range accuracy of the figures as well as proper cost allocation and accounting principle.
• Prepare Monthly Financial Report, Consolidation Report and Quarterly Financial Report to OJK(Indonesia Financial Services Authority) .

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
• Having at least 3-5 years of experience in similar positions or 3-4 years of experience in Public Accountant, background in mining company would be an advantage.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Applications, especially MS Excel.
• Good understanding and knowledge of Accounting Standards (PSAK & IFRS) and Financial Reporting.
• Able to work under pressure and a tight deadline.
