Position: FABRICATION MANAGER

Minimum Education: University graduate from reputable university

Working Experience: More than 8 - 10 years in similar position / field

Work Location: Papua

Status Employment: Contract

Required Working Skill / Qualification / Certification:

  1. Knowledge of assets and equipment and their maintenance techniques, familiarity with Fabrication and Installation techniques
  2. Basic knowledge of methodologies, equipment and key issues related to fabrication / construction / installation and commissioning activities
  3. Capability to analyze any opportunity for improvement and to define/promote advances in operating procedures and company processes.
  4. Knowledge of methodologies for managing contracts and subcontracts, claims, changes, back-charges, variations
  5. Knowledge of erection sequences and production methodologies in order to minimize HSE hazards (working at height, working in confined spaces, etc.), duration of activities in respect of time and cost constrains
  6. Knowledge of machinery and tools for fabrication discipline
  7. Capability to plan and estimate Maintenance work pack Cost-Time-Resources (included Major Overhauls/Planned Shutdown and Turnaround works)
  8. Capability to manage structuring, sequencing, duration, estimating and scheduling of activities and/or work packages, including the assignment of resources to activities, identifying project deadlines and monitoring and controlling their timely execution
  9. Familiarity and knowledge of general HSE requirements, ensuring proper implementation and interpretation of the guidelines defined by the HSE plans
  10. Understanding and application of a Project production plan. Capability to execute the assigned activities in order to achieve the scheduled targets
  11. Capability to define project scope in order to meet the needs and expectations of the interested parties, especially those of the clients and users
  12. Capability to produce the agreed end results, especially the deliverables, in the time-frame required, within budget and within acceptable parameters of risk
  13. Capability to plan and optimise the way resources (people, materials and infrastructure required to carry out project activities) are utilised in the project time schedule as well as their continuous monitoring and control
  14. Capability to organize materials taking into account the space available, the frequency of requests from departments and in anticipation of future activities

Brief Job Description:

  1. Promote safe works practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety and quality standards are respected
  2. Participate in project planning and scheduling, liaising for this purpose with other organizations and functions involved in executing the project and assuring the most suitable solutions in terms of construction methods
  3. Plan and control production tools, equipment and personnel needed to execute fabrication projects’ activities, ensuring overall resource optimization
  4. Prepare production personnel mobilization plan and updating of work schedules
  5. Assure that the procedures defined for site activities are applied
  6. Supervise the works performed by both subcontractors or in direct hiring, approving production work progress
  7. Check production work progress, identifying any critical aspects and, where construction activities are subcontracted, requesting necessary actions from the subcontractor concerned
  8. Ensure coordination of all disciplines involved in the work up to Pre-commissioning / Mechanical Completion
  9. Assist the Commissioning department during commissioning and start-up phases (when applicable)
  10. Contribute to continuous improvement process through the provision of suggestions regarding methodologies, tools, material management
  11. Identify criticalities during yard activities, promote and implement all required countermeasures quantifying impact in term of cost and schedule

 

Position: QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Minimum Education: University graduate from reputable university

Working Experience: More than 3 years in similar position / field

Work Location: Papua

Status Employment: Contract

Required Working Skill / Qualification / Certification:

  1. Knowledge and techniques for measuring performance, economic data, progress, costs, and risks
  2. Capability to use the main commercial database software tools and planning data organization
  3. Knowledge of construction and installation processes/phases during project planning and execution
  4. Knowledge of prefabrication, fabrication and installation methodologies for Electrical and Instrumentation
  5. Knowledge of methodologies for managing contracts and subcontracts, claims, changes, back-charges, variations
  6. Project requirements and contract interpretation, focusing on clauses with subcontractors
  7. Knowledge of the main work phases for workshop activities relevant to piping prefabrication
  8. Project feedbacks Capability to analyse balance data (bid vs. project) to verify the cause of potential gaps, aiming at improving the ability of risk and opportunity management
  9. Project quality management Familiarity and knowledge of general QA/QC requirements, ensuring proper implementation and interpretation of the guidelines defined by the QA/QC plans
  10. Site accountancy Knowledge and application of discipline price lists, progress measurement and accountancy
  11. Technical disciplines and materials for project management
  12. Knowledge of technical disciplines and materials in order to interface with engineering and construction departments

Brief Job Description:

  1. Supply/verify quantitative data for the preparation of extra works and day works and support the Discipline Superintendent and management team for proper definition of any NP (New Price) and CWO (Change Work Order)
  2. Ensure the monitoring of daily man-hours/equipment spent by site contractors or by direct hiring activities
  3. Monitor the actual quantities in order to assess both the active and the passive progress measurement according with the contracts in place
  4. Verify the correct implementation and use of the project management information systems for the project (also for subcontractors when required)
  5. Assist the Discipline Superintendent and Mgmt Syst. and Quantity Manager for the creation of the necessary reports
  6. Assist the Mgmt Syst. and Quantity Manager for the creation of the quantity management reports and construction costs estimate to complete
  7. Ensure the correct work progress statements and relevant certification of subcontractors works, for accountability purposes, in accordance with the project procedures, preambles, price list, Company standards and information systems, and contract/subcontracts requirements
  8. Support the Construction Manager and management team (i.e. Discipline Superintendent, Contract Manager, Risk
  9. Manager, Project manager) for early detection of risks and opportunities related to the performance of the subcontractors (delay estimation, backup plan against subcontractor claims, etc.)
  10. Assist the Construction Manager and the Discipline Superintendent the budgeting of preemptive accountability based on IFC drawings
  11. In addition to all the above, in case of coordination of a team of Quantity Surveyors, the coordinator, with suitable experience and seniority, shall effectively drive the team (internal or external resources) maintaining the targets of the project and/or embrace the ownership and responsibility of more than one discipline

3. Position: LIFTING ENGINEER

  1. Expert knowledge in Lifting Equipment inspection/certification and Rigging activities.
  2. Working knowledge of International Codes & Standards, Company specifications, statutory regulations related to Lifting Equipment.

Brief Job Description:

  1. He shall be responsible, competent and capable of successfully managing the Lifting Equipment Inspection/certification contract.
  2. Coordinating for Lifting equipment Bi-annual inspection/certification program and Ad-hoc inspection certification requirements.
  3. Responsible for organizing and scheduling of Third Party Lifting equipment certification for all Company lifting equipment as per Company policy.
  4. Supervises the activities of Lifting Equipment Engineers / Inspectors and performs supervisory duties at the level established for the position
  5. Liaising with maintenance team and Crane Inspectors / Crane and Lifting Gears Inspection representatives on a daily basis
  6. Provide technical consultation/clarification on the Lifting equipment implementation program and Lifting Equipment Manual.
  7. Review the technical documents such as PR description of new lifting equipment, Asset Owner’s technical queries, Lifting Equipment Procedure revision, etc. and provide suitable report for implementation.
  8. Conducts awareness Training program related to Lifting requirements as per Company policies to Maintenance/Shutdown and other Contractor personnel.
  9. Identify, calculate, and report key performance indicator (KPIs) applicable to the Lifting Equipment Management System
  10. Review the technical process for all lifting equipment procurement actions to ensure lifting equipment conforms to specifications
  11. Provide technical support with respect to Lifting Equipment installation/ certification and handover from new Expansion & Mega Projects

 

4. Position: QC Inspector - Mechanical (Static & Rotating Equipment)

Minimum Education: Diploma from related reputable technical academ

Working Experience: More than 5 years in similar position / field

Work Location: Papua

Status Employment: Contract

Required Working Skill / Qualification / Certification:

  1. Specialist to material control processing for oil & gas project
  2. Computer literate (Ms. Office and Ms. Outlook)
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication / presentation skills in English

Brief Job Description:

  1. Attend all necessary inspections as identified in the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
  2. Inspect the production quality to establish if the client requirements are being achieved.
  3. Shall perform a variety of inspection functions under supervision
  4. Record and document any and all deviations from the Project Quality Program (PQP) and the Company Integrated Management System (IMS).
  5. Update the system with any and all deviations from the Project Quality Program and the Company Integrated Management System (IMS).
  6. Coordinate with the client representatives to ensure that inspections are carried out expediently.
  7. Review the calibration status of any test equipment being utilized on the project ensuring the equipment is within calibration prior to use.
  8. Provide support and advice to the construction personnel in relation to the Project Quality Program and the Company Integrated Management System (IMS)

 

Position: QC INSPECTOR - INSULATION

Minimum Education: University graduate from reputable university

Working Experience: More than 5 years in similar position / field

Work Location: Papua

Status Employment: Contract

Required Working Skill / Qualification / Certification:

  1. Secondary qualifications or higher or related trade background, with experience in related oil and gas fields.
  2. Relevant Insulation qualification / certification.
  3. Performing Insulation inspection programmes for oil and gas capital resource projects at module fabrication yards.

 Brief Job Description:

  1. Review and approval of Quality documents such as quality control procedure, ITP, Vendor specifications, material approvals etc.
  2. Witnessing and surveillance inspection on contractor’s surface preparation and painting activities as per relevant inspection points stipulated in ITP.
  3. Witnessing pre-qualification tests for paint system, coating applicator and blasting operator qualifications.
  4. Approval of abrasives, coating and insulation materials etc.
  5. Resolve contractor’s technical queries with concurrence from quality and engineering leads.
  6. Verifying contractor’s compliance with specifications, procedures and ITP.
  7. Reporting Non-conformities that are found during inspection, reviewing contractor’s corrective/preventive proposals and verifying it at site.
  8. Carry out punch listing during project completion stage, follow up and track the work execution of the listed punch items.
  9. Attending daily and weekly progress meetings with project construction team and contractors.
  10. Preparation of final handover documents and project close out reports.

 

Position: QC INSPECTOR – BUILDING AREA

Minimum Education: University graduate from reputable university

Working Experience: More than 5 years in similar position / field

Work Location: Papua

Status Employment: Contract

Required Working Skill / Qualification / Certification:

  1. Previous experience of supervision of multi discipline Project support teams
  2. Experience of working on major Civil/Building works projects with oil and gas involvement
  3. Formal engineering training and technical qualification
  4. A number of experience in an oil/gas related supervisory position

Brief Job Description:

  1. Executes the specific inspections on materials, equipment and construction/installation activities on site.
  2. Issues the relevant Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send to Quality Control Supervisor non-conformances reports.
  3. Checks the preparation of foundations.
  4. Checks the correct preparation of reinforcements.
  5. Monitors atmospheric conditions during pouring operations.
  6. Monitors correct curing operations.
  7. Checks the sampling operations (when required).
  8. Reviews the laboratory examination results.
  9. Checks sub-grade dry density.
  10. Checks moisture content.
  11. Checks after execution of costing.
  12. Checks materials quality, after concrete puring and compression strength test (wire, fitting etc.).
  13. Orderly collect, check and manage documents certifying tests, controls and inspections carried out witnessing the tests, controls and inspections carried out.
  14. Ensure the correct implementation of the approved Inspection Test Plan according to Clients requirements.
