MINE SURVEYOR
(Assignment: KJA Site)
Conducts surveys at surface and subsurface mine sites to implement mine design and obtain data used in planning mining operations including monitoring recovery, productivity and submission of progress claims align with company’s policies and rules.
Requirements:
- Min. Bachelor Degree in Geodetic Engineering
- Min. 2 years experiences as a Surveyor
- Hold POP competency & Mine Surveying certificate (sertifikat juru ukur)
- Competent in use of Ms. Office
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Outstanding leadership skill
- Able to operate mining survey equipment
- Willing to be placed in all project
- May be required to work flexible hours to suit Project requirements
Responsibilities:
- Collect and develop survey data and maintain the database to ensure the accordance with the set of standard procedures and systems.
- Conduct field surveys in good time and accurately determine quantities necessary for the submission of monthly progress claims.
- Collect acurate daily survey and download data into the computer to ensure datas are interpreted accurately by the Survey Draftsman.
- Coordinate and liase with Engineering & Constructions Team to ensure that construction designs are being properly implemented in the field
- Use and maintain survey software in order to ensure efficiency in survey activities.
- Coach and mentor Survey Assistant and provide them with skills in order to collect the survey pick-ups in the absence of a Surveyor.
- Contribute to the compilation of tenders by providing mine planning and design support needed by the Estimator.
QA/QC COORDINATOR
(Assignment: Lampunut Site)
Monitor and review all detail tasks of QA/QC function within project and/or corporate, including vendor and site coordination, and inspections.
Requirements:
- Min. Bachelor Degree, preferably in Engineering
- Min. 4 years experiences in maintenance / equipment
- Good knowledge in Quality Management Tools (e.g. TQM, QCC, SPC, Balance Scorecard, etc.) and disseminate through Project Quality Management System
- Work flexible hours to accommodate job requirements
- Required to work overtime on a regular basis.
Responsibilities::
- Prepare, review and issue project specific documentation such as method statement and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) etc. based on project requirements
- Provide quality input and/or problem resolution to discipline engineers during design and procurement phases or construction supervisors during field construction phase
- Review the quality system of new vendors/ subcontractors and/or conduct the assessment of vendors’ performance and then prepares/updates the record of Assessed Vendors List (AVL)
- Develop, test and qualify the project welding specifications including welders/welding operators’ qualification
- Liaise and coordinate with third party, NDT Company, Testing laboratory and Government authority inspector as applicable
- Responsible for the traceability of materials by ensuring all records such as material certificates, equipment calibration, inspection and testing etc. raised during phases of procurement, manufacturing, construction/ installation and commissioning are available, complete and correct
- Prepare the index of Manufacturer’s Data Reports (MDRs) when the fabrications of permanent structures or pipe spools etc. are performed by the Company
- Establish equipment/gauges register and maintain valid calibration records of inspection, measuring and testing equipment. Remind the Construction Manager if the equipment used on the project is due for calibration
- Coordinate overseas vendors’ inspection and review inspection reports raised by the surveillance inspection companies
- Perform document review issued by vendors/ subcontractors
- Review Inspection Report, monitor the progress and clear-up any problem/ outstanding items
- Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements.
SENIOR CONTRACT ENGINEER
(Assignment: Lampunut Site)
Review, monitor, and control the implementation of contract’s scope of work and technical specifications (PRE-CONTRACT AWARD), preparing tender documents with suitable conditions in order to ensure that company policies and procedures are followed in term of minimise any exposure to risk for company (POST-CONTRACT AWARD).
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in any major
- Minimum 4 years experiences dealing with contract
- Possess strong analytical thinking skill
- Attention to details
- Fluent in English and Bahasa, both verbal and written
- Requires traveling to Project Site as required.
Responsibilities::
- Review and analyse all contracts/agreement giving input regarding the contract composition and any qualifications required in order to align terms and conditions to company’s Contracting Principles
- Assist Project Control Superintendent in developing appropriate contractual strategies in order to maximize contract position
- Resolve contractual issues with Client/Vendors, including drafting formal letters and attending negotiations of a contractual correspondence to settlement in order to provide contract administration support
- Analyse and negotiate contract in order to get through to contract settlement
- Monitor contract implementation to ensure that both, Client and Company follow the coractual requirements of the contract to ensure that company is not exposed to unnecessary osts or penalties
- Prepare contractual correspondence to the Client/Vendor
- Maintaining and implementing HSE programs include ensuring the effectiveness of the program conforms to official standard and requirements.
SURVEYOR
(Assignment: Lampunut Site)

BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER (MINING)
(Assignment: Tabang and KJA Site)
To provide multivariate data analysis using standard and defined CI methodologies; Provide Control over the preparation, execution and establish timely comprehensive project reports related to all Improvement Initiatives within Asset Management Group.
Requirement:
- Min. D3 degree in Civil / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering with 1 year experiences in Mobile and Plant Maintenance in Mining Industry and/or completing Petrosea GDP Program
- Has exposure in CI tools for Best Practice Management (6sigma, RCM, FMEA, Kaizen, etc.)
- Has knowledge of Heavy Equipment Maintenance Management
- Has experience in Equipment Health and Machine Application tools (SOS, TPMS, VIMS, ET, FPO, VHMS, INSITE, MIC, etc.)
- Has experience in analysing multivariate technical data resources and generating technical reports
- Has experience in analysis of costs on improvement and modification projects
- Highly competent computer skill in Microsoft environment (incl. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
- Is highly competent in generating reports for regular and management review; action plan presentation
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
- Willing to travel to project sites in remote locations.
Responsibility:
- Support HSE programs and the Environmental management system to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standards and requirements
- Provide multivariate technical data analysis from various resources using available CI Tool concepts (6Sigma, RCM, FMEA, Kaizen, etc.)
- Establish regular reports regarding to work in progress, action plans, and outcome results of continuous improvement initiative programs
- Maintain and keep proper documentations of all CI Initiative Projects in an available system accessible by all functions across Asset Management, as technical and management reference
- Provide technical assistance in system development related to CI and align with engineering designs and drawings of any modification on facilities and equipment
- Participate in regular meetings with OEM Vendors and industry network peers to keep up to date with the latest information and possible initiatives for asset reliability and cost saving projects, as well as to establish better CI culture within the company.
CIVIL SUPERVISOR
(Assignment: Lampunut and Vale Site)
Monitor and supervise site civil and structural activities to ensure such activities are conducted in a safe and timely manner conform against quality that optimises availability in order to support success of project implementation.
Requirements:
- Min. High School with 5 years experiences in construction areas preferable in civil field.
- Possess broad knowledge in Civil / Structural system especially in CULVERT WORK.
- Good analytical and supervisory skill.
- Good communication in English.
- Work flexible hours to accommodate job requirements
Responsibilities::
- Exercise, direct, and ensure a safe work environment in the work area at all times; and ensure all store business work processes and activities are all done in safe works practices.
- Develop and follow JSA’s for all tasks
- Assist Project Engineer with the development of a work schedule including parts, materials and manpower to be incorporated in the BMP short term detailed execution plans
- Prepare and submit the regular report required by project to ensure report is submitted in timely manner.
- Supervising activities to ensure work is technically correct and performed in a safe and cost effective manner
- Examine and investigate all variances from target to avoid bigger lost in both cost and time consumed.
- Monitor supervisor schedule implementation to ensure all PM scheduled work is completed in accordance with work instructions and schedules
- Proactively identify defects and register them via work requests in order to have an appropriate and prompt action.
- Develop and determine work procedure, work load balance, and also coordinate work unit with other unit.
- Maintaining and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements
ELECTRICAL FOREMAN
(Assignment: Lampunut Site)
Monitor and coordinate electrician daily activities to ensure electric work is performed in a technically correct and efficient manner, conform with company’s standard and policies.
Requirements:
- Work flexible hours to accommodate job requirements
- Proactive safety attitude
- Min. High School degree with 3 years experiences in engineering area
- Understand and ability in installing the electrical installation
- Familiar in electrical equipment, any cable sizes, and wire that commonly used in electrical installing.
Responsibilities::
- Plan and supervise electrician activities schedule regarding tools requirement, spare part, and consumable goods and also manpower planning in establishment, maintenance, and repairment of Site
- Responsible in maintain and repair electrician system in Site/Project
- Check and examine all electrical location and equipment for safety and economizing by using test equipment standard and observe its function
- Conduct formal annual performance review all direct reports, identifying strengths and weaknesses, training needs and agreeing upon goals for the future
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance counselling as required for all direct reports
- Prepare and submit reporting required by superior in a timely manner
- Communicate and monitor safety procedures implementation in work environment and process in order to maintain safety awareness at all times and adhere to Petrosea guidelines and regulations in this respect
- Review and analyse of failure to plant, monitor degradation and report of equipment failure for compilation into backlog
- Monitor and maintain Work Order (WO) to ensure Work Order information is processed in accordance with BMP
- Coordinate of routine examination of all electrical equipment.
EMERGENCY RESPONSE SPECIALIST
(Assignment: Tabang and BMB site)
Assist Superior in developing, monitoring, measuring and evaluating the Emergency Response Plan to ensure the readiness of applied control measures. And to plan in order to prevent and or handling the emergency situation within project area responsibility, to ensure comply with company’s Emergency Response, government regulation, and other requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma Degree (preferably Bachelor Degree) in public occupational Health &
- Safety/Environment or Engineering or relevant background (preferred)
- Minimum 3 (Three) years experiences in HSE, or others related to Emergency Response
- Will be preferred if understand of Mining Safety or Plant Safety
- Certified with several rescue techniques by authorities
- Will be preferred if having experiences in rescue challenge event such as IFRC, BFRC or other similar event
- Good Leadership and communication/presentation skill
- Fluent in English both verbal and writing
- Willing to work at remote area
- Willing to work extended hours to meet the objectives.
Responsibilities::
- Liaise with Superior to support in development and implementation of project emergency response plan
- Liaise with HSE Training and Project HSE team to select personnel and conduct training to establish Petrosea Emergency Response Team with sufficient skill and knowledge
- Assist project team to implement the procedure / guideline related to Emergency Response
- Assist project team to conduct Emergency Drill
- Conduct review, analysis and evaluation of the existing identified emergency situation and relevant procedure consider to the real condition and the requirements
- Assist Superior to develop recommendation action in order to control the emergency situation
- Coordinate, manage and comply HSE Management Plan for project site related with emergency preparedness and response
- Analyse and provide the Emergency Drill and Accident report and develop recommendation as needed
- Conduct regular Emergency Equipment inspection using the available guideline
- Provide inspection / audit report include the recommendation actions to standardize emergency equipment and response across site
- Involve in the incident investigation related with emergency situation in project site
- Maintain and follow up any HAZOB report related with emergency equipment
- With management approval, assist and/or contribute the Petrosea rescue team in Fire & Rescue Challenge for local or national
- With management approval, to contribute to the disaster rescue effort in regional and national
- Be the person in charge (with the HR Site Team) of the employee evacuation process, whether in sickness, work accident, or accident not due to work and inside or outside the work site.
MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
(Assignment: Head Office)
Maintain the day-to-day operations and to assume responsibility for maintaining the physical asset of the property under the direction of the Maintenance supervisor.
Requirements:
- Work Flexible hours to accommodate the Job requirements
- Min. 4 years previous experiences as Maintenance Engineer
- Min. Bachelor degree in any major, preferably in Engineering
- Willing to be placed in all project locations
- Good command in English verbal and written

Responsibilities::
- Review existing preventive maintenance job and set up requirement for each preventive management job
- Set up estimated elapsed time for each preventive management job
- Maintenance scheduling of mobile and fixed plant
- Development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs
- Ensure safe and healthy work practices are followed
- Work scheduling of maintenance activities
- Ensure maintenance coverage for breakdowns
- Order of adequate spares and materials
- Study requirement of heavy equipment operation to identify operating procedure, maintenance and repair
- Set up maintenance activities plan including spare part and maintenance cost
- Identify the damage of equipment and find solutions
- Preparing plant number for plant to be capitalized and all document
- Preparing / recording movement of each plant
- Suspending plant to be disposed
- Modification of equipment and upgrade of existing facilities
- Liaise with operations departments to ensure optimal equipment and plant availability
- Monitor material and equipment utilization
- Preparing environment to track cost per equipment (and roll up to higher hierarchy)
- Preparing environment to manage retention time (i.e., 10 hours)
- Servicing and solving problem once the end user find problems
- Proposing to procurement department if possible to have an integral system with maintenance system.
OPERATION MANAGER
(Assignment: Balikpapan)
Lead, direct, and control day to day activities of the asset site and responsible to monitor/control site team in execution in term of quality assurance process across the project in order to achieve best in class equipment reliability, effective cost, and safely.
Requirements:
- Minimum bachelor degree in Civil/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering with minimum 3 years experiences in Mining Industry or having international recognised trade qualification with minimum 10 years experiences, out of 5 years experiences in Managerial position
- Demonstrate proactive safety attitude and visible HSE Leadership
- Promote safety awareness and culture
- Demonstrate leadership and commitment
- Understand of mining/non-mining requirement and production targets
- Understand of heavy equipment maintenance management

Responsibilities::
- Responsible to ensure HSEMS (Health, Safety, Environment Management System) and work program have well implemented across the project site to ensure all associated risk in daily activity is manage in proper manner to meet HSE standard practices, legal, and other requirements
- Plan, organize, and direct operations to ensure the most effective readiness of assets
- Initiative plans and processes which optimize maintenance costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, facilities, materials, and capital to ensure attainment of business objectives and productions schedules while ensuring product standard that will exceed customer’s expectation
- Analyze, evaluate, & recommend short and long term financial forecasting
- Evaluate and develop guideline for operational budget and forecast preparation for all operating locations
- Improve manpower utilization within existing departments and processes in order to ensure schedule stability that allows for maximum returns on efficiency
- Develop and implement continuous improvement policies and procedures to ensure that the plant meet its current and future production targets and quality standards
- Review and analyze short to medium term (1-12 months) planning schedules for all major fleet – identify risks/benefits in execution and finally come up with realistic plan
