We are currently hiring below position:

Geotechnical Specialist for the Civil and Offshore Departments

Profile/Experience:
Geotechnical Specialist/ Subject Matter Expert with a minimum of 20 years work experience in Geotechnical and Foundation Engineering in the Civil Engineering Industry (preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry). Has experience of leading small to large team of geotechnical engineers on medium to large scale projects in Downstream, Midstream and Upstream Sectors. Good blend of theoretical knowledge coupled with practical project experience. Has experience in mentoring of junior engineers, developing geotechnical expertise in others within the Civil and Offshore domain.

• Wide spread experience and confident decision maker capable of dealing with varied project situations.
• Experienced in reviewing soil investigation reports and interfacing with site engineers/contractors during geotechnical investigation
• Experience in framing Geotechnical Design Basis
• Specialist in Pile Foundation design for onshore, maritime and offshore structures; knowledge of pile drivability analysis
• Experience in other areas- embankments, shore protection, breakwaters, causeways, liquefaction,slope stability, reclamation, ground improvement etc.
• Knowledge of latest standards and codes in geotechnical engineering.
• Team player with other Civil and Structural personnel
• Experience in review design work done by Sub Contractors and Third Party Agencies
• Cost conscious with an ability to challenge other’s design and ensuring optimization/ cost reduction
• Experienced user of industry standard software-All Pile, Plaxis, GRL WEAP, Staad Foundation ,MS Office, Mathcad

Education Qualifications:

• Minimum Master’s degree holder in Geotechnical Engineering from a reputed university.
• PHD degree will be an advantage.
