1. Chief Operating Officer

As a committed professional with relevant senior management experience gained within the energy and wider natural resources industry you will have well developed leadership and communication skills plus the personal attributes to fulfil the requirements of the role.

REPORTING

This position reports to the Company’s CEO based in Singapore.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Represent the Company in various forums and advocating its best interests
• Lead the Jakarta based team and manage the office
• Nurture staff to develop their skills and maximise their contribution to the Company
• Develop and implement strategy in the context of the Company’s strategic objectives and in consultation with the Company’s senior management
• Develop, implement and manage the Jakarta office budget as agreed with head office
• Identify and lead the Company into new business opportunities to increase market penetration and improve profitability
• Implement and manage polices consistent with the Company’s culture and vision
• Manage relationship with partners, vendors and other stakeholders

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Tertiary degree in a technical discipline within the energy or mining industry
• Graduate degree in business or a business related discipline
• 20+ years’ experience including at least 5 years in senior management roles
• Exposure to both Indonesian and international companies operations
• Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
• Able to demonstrate true leadership abilities, lead teams as well as be able to work independently
• Strong active network within the energy industry and relevant government agencies and ministries
• A clear understanding of the full value chain for complex energy projects
• High degree of computer literacy

2. Oil & Gas Technical Manager

As a committed professional with relevant technical experience gained within the upstream oil & gas industry, you will have well developed technical and communication skills plus the personal attributes to fulfil the requirements of the role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Corporate

• Supporting the Technical Director to complete various work-scopes related to existing and new investments
• Participating in data-rooms and undertaking due diligence as directed by the Technical Director and other senior staff
• Preparing technical reports and presentations to effectively communicate key information to senior management
• Maintaining an appropriate database to improve the Company’s corporate records and improve efficiency of its technical evaluation Investments
• Working in and influencing alignment within a multidisciplinary project team (technical, financial and economic)
• Identifying critical technical risks and issues within existing and new investments and recommending appropriate strategies to mitigate
• Providing technical advice and support to the Company’s asset operating teams

REQUIREMENTS:

• Tertiary degree in geoscience or petroleum engineering
• 10+ years’ multi-disciplinary experience in the upstream oil and gas sector
• Exposure to both Indonesian and international companies and projects preferred
• Willing to learn and open to new approaches
• Able to demonstrate true leadership abilities, lead teams as well as be able to work independently
• General upstream industry experience from exploration through reserves definition, appraisal and development
• Demonstrated expertise in oil and gas offtake sales arrangements and related agreements
• Experience with pricing and economics
• A clear understanding of the full value chain for complex oil & gas projects
• High degree of computer literacy
