Adaro Power is effectively 100% owned by PT. Adaro Energy Tbk., the largest public listed integrated coal mining and services company in Indonesia that ranks among the top five exporters of thermal coal globally.

The Group is the largest single-site coal producer in the southern hemisphere and has three operating mine areas (namely Paringin, Tutupan, and Wara). The group also has a 25% interest in a joint venture with BHP in 7 coking coal concessions in Central Kalimantan.

FINANCE, ACCOUNTING & TAX DIVISION HEAD

The responsibilities of this position is to develop and control the company’s financial, accounting and tax (FAT) operational activities to ensure the availability of accurate, comprehensive and timely financial information as well as to support the company’s overall activities.

• Develop FAT policies, systems, and procedures as well as to control its implementation to ensure that all FAT processes and transactions run in an orderly and organized fashion, and thus to mitigate financial risks.
• To plan and coordinate the development of the company’s budget, as well as to monitor and control budget spending to ensure it is done effectively and efficiently to support the company’s activities.
• Control company cashflow, especially to manage payables, receivables, and projects done by the company, to ensure the availability of funds as well as to maintain the company’s good financial condition.
• To provide data/information, provide confirmation, and to refute inaccurate information to external parties during tax audits to ensure that the company’s financial FAT activities are reported in an accurate manner. 
• Review and compile pre-tax audit assessments to calculate tax related risks, review tax compliance that has been done by the company, determine risk management actions as well as to ensure administration and documentation readiness for tax audits.
• Control the implementation of the company’s finance and accounting activities in processing data consolidation and financial information to ensure accurate and timely financial reports are readily available.

• Minimum Bachelor degree majoring in Finance / Accounting with at least 3 years of experience at a Department Head / Managerial position in a related field (preferably with experience in the power generation industry).
• Strong leadership and managerial skills 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organization skills and high attention to detail
• Required competencies: Accounting Control, Cashflow Management, Financial Planning and Budgeting, Account Payable Management, Financial Analysis, Tax

HSE DEPARTEMENT HEAD

Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of HSE management systems and programs to ensure the power plant project is in accordance with HSE standards.

• To develop standards or systems for inspections and testing the quality of constructions as well as to ensure that all inspection and testing activities run as according to company standards and policies.
• To develop and plan HSE programs to improve employee and contractor awareness and competencies of HSE aspects.
• To develop and monitor HSE management systems and program implementations to ensure the systems and programs are implemented as according to the prevailing company standards and procedures
• To ensure the investigation and analysis during the occurrence of accidents and incidents are done in accordance with company standards and procedures and to develop the necessary follow up actions for accident/incident prevention.

• Minimum Bachelor Degree from all major (Engineering would be preferable)
• Minimum 2 (two) years of experience as HSE Section Head/ Assistant Manager (power plant experience would be preferable)
• Required competencies : Operational Safety, Safety & Health Management, Environmental Management, Waste Water Management
• Good communication, leadership, and managerial skills
• Good command in English both oral and written
• Willing to be located at Tanjung, Kalimantan Selatan
