Under Indonesia’s private power programme, PT. YTL Jawa Timur operates and maintains this 2 x 610 MW Coal-fired Power Station. The station is located at Paiton, Probolinggo District of East Java, 141 km Southeast of Surabaya.

We currently have vacancy for:

ASSISTANT ENVIRONMENT ENGINEER

The post holder is responsible to Plant Chemistry & Environment Engineer for dealing with implementation of Environmental Management System.

Candidates for this position should possess:

1. S1 degree majoring in Chemical or Environment Engineering from a reputable university;
2. Having minimum 2 years working experiences at environmental jobs (preferable from heavy industry);
3. Having a strong background in water pollution control, air pollution control, waste management and respective laboratory skill;
4. Having strong knowledge in environment management systems preferably with ISO 14001;
5. Having strong knowledge on AMDAL implementation and monitoring
6. Be able to read and speak English.

Remuneration and benefits will be comparable with the best in this industrial sector.
