PT. Superior Energy Services Indonesia, is looking to recruit a :

TECHNICAL MANAGER

to join the organisation in Jakarta - whose role it will be responsible for to support our international services in Indonesia.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers and operations personnel to ensure customer receives the best technical solutions available.
• Design Cementing, FracPro or CT jobs for onshore/offshore operations in a very demanding environment.
• Prepare and design Cementing, FracPro or CT plans and procedures to fit work programs.
• Develop relationships with the customer to implement problem-solving teams.
• Assist in managing/training local technical and operational staff.
• Perform post job technical analyses to ensure conformance with approved programs and to identify and propose optimization measures.
• Provide technical assistance to the Operation and Services activities.
• Monitor the latest technological developments for Cementing, FracPro or CT activities that could have an impact on improvement of efficiency.
• Contribute to the planning of development projects to optimize the operation procedures, production and improve safety.
• Develop new markets and promote Superior Energy new technology, people and equipment.
• Ensures full awareness of and compliance with, the requirements of all relevant Company/ customer HSE Handbooks, HSE procedures and emergency procedures.
• Actively ensures that his / her own health & safety and the health & safety of all fellow workers or other workers is preserved at all times.
• Liaises with the District Manager, Station Manager, Operations Manager(s), Sr. District Engineer(s), Service Supervisors (offshore) to ensure effective engineering supports to customers are maintained at all times.
• Ensures that the Companys QA/QC standards are met.
• Leads and manages problem solving exercises.
• Actively promote the collation and dissemination of information and techniques in a structured manner.
• Assists the training department in the preparation of technical training material and instruction as needed.
• Training of subordinates, develop new employees to insure work will be perpetuated.
• Identifies and develops new business opportunities.
• Keeps abreast on new developments and technologies within the industry and the company.
• Promotes company technical image by preparing and conducting presentations to customers.
• Maintains close customer contacts and develops relationships with their key personnel.
• Prepares and present technical proposals.
• Provides proactive engineering solutions to customers.
• Ensures all our customer requirements are met in timely manner.
• Helps expedite invoicing & payments from customers.
• Actively involves in the preparation of tenders.
• Actively involves in the writing of technical papers (SPE papers, OTC, etc)
• Actively involves in technical conferences, workshops, etc.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• B. Sc. Degree in Engineering (other technical backgrounds may be considered).
• Have between minimum of 10 years of experience in Cementing, CT and stimulation.
• Familiar with major aspects of Cementing, Fracturing, and CT/N2 applications
• Have extensive past experience in preparation of Cementing, Fracturing or CT/N2/acidizing tenders, technical proposals, job procedures, post job reports/analyses.
• Have extensive past field experience in Cementing, Fracturing or CT/N2/acidizing jobs, preferably in an offshore environment
• Excellent presentation, technical writing and interpersonal skills
• Have strong understanding of Fracturing , Cementing, and Sandstone acidizing fundamentals such as formation damage, candidate selection, treatment fluids design, acid placement and diversion techniques and acidizing additives
• Excellent knowledge of Cementing Software, Myers, FracPro, or Circa, Cycle, Nodal Analysis (Perform) and other engineering software as well as good command of MS software.
