Job Description:
Develop and implement accounting policies, programs, and systems to control the companys assets and provide complete and accurate financial information to management, region and group.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 10+ years experience, with at least 4 in financial/accounting management.
- CPA/CA/ACCA Certification preferred.
- Audit experience is preferred in public accounting or internal audit.
- Superior degree with strong experience of managing tax function, exposure to customs and incoterm management.
- At least 10 year experience in taxes
- Holder of Brevet A and B certificates. Brevet C is preferred
- Holder of license to appear before court is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial analysis, planning and reporting. Monitor and evaluate the performance of local accounting team, functions, policies, systems and procedures in achieving strategic objectives.
- Develop, analyse and interpret statistical and accounting information and appraise profitability and performance against budget on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Prepare and review organizations monthly and yearly financial statements and reports to ensure they have been accurately prepared.
- Ensure inventory is properly valued in accordance with Group policy
- Coordinate and produce annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure balance sheet items are accurately recorded and controlled on a monthly basis.
- Ensure Tax and Customs regulations are properly followed up in line with local legislation. 8.
- Follow up actively any litigation with local management and take any measures to ensure resolution of cases.
- Analyses and proposes recommendations in terms of tax management to local management and supports them to define most optimized methods.
- Perform verification of tax figures in consolidation and deferred tax calculation.
- Close tax audits in timely manner and to the best interest of the company.
- Support Group Tax department in the setup of Group tax policy, optimization and structuration.
