We are currently taking applicants for the following position for project expansion :

 

QA-QC Engineer

(EPM Dept.– Site Based)

To help the Division Quality Manager and/or Project Quality Manager to manage details tasks of QA/QC function within projects and/or ‘corporate’ (division level), including vendor and site coordination and inspections

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review and issue project specific documentation such as method statement and
• Provide quality input and/or problem resolution to discipline engineers during design and procurement phases or construction supervisors during field construction phase
• Review the quality system of new vendors/ subcontractors and/or conduct the assessment of vendors performance and then  prepares/updates the record of Assessed Vendors List (AVL)
• Develop, test and qualify the project welding specifications including welders/welding operators qualification
• Liaise and coordinate with third party, NDT company, Testing laboratory and Government authority inspector as applicable
• Responsible for the traceability of materials by ensuring all records such as material certificates, equipment calibration, inspection and testing etc. raised during phases of procurement, manufacturing, construction/ installation and commissioning are available, complete and correct
• Prepare the index of Manufacturer’s Data Reports (MDRs) when the fabrication of permanent structures or pipe spools etc are performed by the Company.
• Establish equipment/gauges register and maintain valid calibration records of inspection, measuring and testing equipment. Remind the Construction Manager if the equipment used on the project is due for calibration
• Coordinate overseas vendors inspection and review inspection reports raised by the surveillance inspection companies.
• Perform document review issued by vendors/ subcontractors
• Review Inspection Report, monitor the progress and clear-up any problem/ outstanding items

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor degree, preferably in engineering
• Minimum 5 years previous experience in QA/QC construction project
• In the case of small to medium sized projects, the Senior QA/QC Engineer shall be required to act as the Quality Manager
• Good knowledge on Quality Management Tools (e.g. TQM, QCC, SPC, Balance Scorecard, etc.) and disseminate through Project Quality Management System.

 

Earthwork Supervisor

(EPM Dept.– Site Based)

Monitor and control Earthworks resources (people and equipment) in field operation in term of support construction manager to ensure production is achieved in accordance with project parameters, project schedule, budget, in compliance with company’s project safety and environmental policy

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control the implementation of Earthworks plan and manage that all necessary resources are available at site in order to meet the construction schedule through regular construction meetings.
• Understanding the basics of the project budget, monitor and control the Earthworks budget to ensure that costs do not exceed budget.
• Initiates, develops and improve the implementation of construction methodology and equipment utilization to improve efficiency.
• Review client specifications and drawings to ensure the requirements defined are incorporated into the work.
• Support and assist the Project Safety Superintendent in actively promoting a safety culture and awareness in order to enhance safety awareness among personnel and prevent LTI.
• Discuss pertinent topics at daily pre-start meetings and weekly toolbox meetings in order to Provide a safe and healthy work environment.
• Provide Earthwork Superintendent with construction schedules, cost forecasts and progress statistics in order to updated current situation

Requirement:

• Minimum Senior High School
• Good understanding & implementation of earthwoks methods
• Creative thinking and ability to manage the work systems
• Good leadership

 

Earthwork Superintendent

(EPM Dept.– Site Based)

Monitor and control Earthworks resources (people and equipment) in field operation in term of support construction manager to ensure production is achieved in accordance with project parameters, project schedule, budget, in compliance with company’s project safety and environmental policy

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, control and supervise labor in a day to day basis, direct subcontract, and all non-labor resources in order to ensure project completed on schedule, conform with the standard of quality specified
• Provide leadership and direction to all Earthworks operations team including monitor their performance in order to maintain and enhance team performance
• Monitor and control the implementation of Earthworks plan and manage that all necessary resources are available at site in order to meet the construction schedule through regular construction meetings.
• Understanding the basics of the project budget, monitor and control the Earthworks budget to ensure that costs do not exceed budget
• Initiates, develops and improve the implementation of construction methodology and equipment utilization to improve efficiency

Construction Manager

(EPM Dept.– Site Based)

Direct, monitor and control the construction activities of a project in order to ensure that it is completed on time and to the total satisfaction of the client whilst achieving tender profit margins and meeting the safety and quality expectations of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and monitor the works through a detailed level III programme and accurately record actual progress against the critical path activities to ensure that programme and reported progress position are consistently accurate.
• Direct, control and monitor the implementation of management strategy in the construction activities in order to optimises company’s position on the project within the terms of the contract.
• Control, monitor and liaise with the financial management of the project to ensure targeted profitability is achieved and potential for profitability is maximised.
• Lead, manage and coordinate Construction Engineers and Superintendents in control of all labour and plant resources in order to achieve the construction schedule and the project safety and quality requirements on the site.
• Develop and maintain relationship with the client to ensure that the project is undertaken in a cooperative manner.
• Coordinate and liaise with Project Manager in representing the company in all meetings and matters pertaining to the contract with respect to the client and any third party to ensure all matters discussed are meet the best solution.
• Develop, support and liaise with Project Control team with the project programming, weekly progress assessment and reporting function to ensure all report and assessment are accurate in timely manner
• Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements

Requirements:

• Willing to work extended hours to ensure project completion on time.
• Minimum 10 years previous experiences in construction
• Computer literate, including knowledge of computerized architectural data bases and/or  CAD drawing systems.
• Organizational, supervisory and negotiating skills.
• Analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate and detail records.

 

Project Manager

(EPM Dept.– Jakarta & Site Based)

Plan, direct and control a project from the date of award to the issue of a practical completion certificate and ideally be involved until end of the maintenance period to ensure a project is running well, completed on time and to budget in accordance with all the company standard procedures and to the total satisfaction of the clients

Responsibilities:

• Plan and control the flow of work for a construction project, including estimating time, supplies and personnel required for completing the project to ensure that projects are being carried out according to established plan
• Direct, control and execute the Project by conducting a kick off meeting with the Project Team, assign duties and responsibilities as detailed in the functional matrix in order to ensure project initial are well manage
• Direct, review and analyse client specifications and documents to ensure the requirements defined are incorporated into the works and the responsibilities allocated under the project quality system are understood and implemented
• Prepare, control and implement project budets, construction schedules, project reporting, progress assessment and project execution plan, take personal responsibility and accountability for cash flow, receivables and return on capital of the project to ensure budget are meet with operational needs and requirements
• Interface and coordinate subcontract activities to ensure that they will support the achievement of project aims and the support of company construction objectives
• Direct, monitor and utilize company’s equipment efficiently, maintain schedule compliance on planned maintenance and reduce cost as appropriate in order to optimize asset utilization.
• Direct, submit and negotiate claims to settlement as required to ensure that progress claims are submitted and paid in a timely manner
• Plan, analyse and establish detailed cost forecasts, manage variations in order to close out to maximise returns in a timely manner
• Direct, control and manage all statutory permits and approvals as required to proceed with the contract to ensure all permits and formalities are complete and valid
• Establish to maintain and manage all stakeholders interests to ensure harmonious and cooperative relationships in industrial relations, community relations and staff welfare in all aspects of the project
• Maintain and implementing HSE programs including Environmental Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard and requirements

Requirement:

• Minimum Bachelor Degree, preferably in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 12 years previous experiences in construction and engineering
• Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and construction management principles and practices and the associated flow of design and construction project management
• Ability to recognize potential claims and manage project contract activities to avoid costly claims and litigation
• Ability to supervise and evaluate the work of subordinates
• Ability to communicate effectively both oral and written
• Ability to develop and maintain effective monitoring and control systems and carry them to the intended conclusions to meet Agency goals for the program
• Willing to work extended hours to meet the deadline
