Operation Specialist (Work Control Coordinator)
(Work Location: Onshore Processing Facility - Gresik, Jawa Timur)
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Plant Superintendent Onshore, this position will be based in Onshore Processing Facility (OPF) Gresik, Jawa Timur. The successful candidate will be responsible to oversees day-to-day plant operation, facilitate work planning, provide operational and process technical advice to optimize plant efficiency of GPF, OTF and LPGF facilities.
Qualification:
- Technical Diploma, Bachelor or Master Degree in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering or related discipline.
- Having minimum 10 years working experience in oil and gas industry, which significant proportion in gas and hydrocarbon facilities.
- In depth knowledge of subsurface production operations, maintenance and troubleshooting
- In depth knowledge of surface facilities & petroleum/petrochemical engineering concepts and application.
- Familiarity with tendering and contracting procedures, and knowledgeable of PTK007 procedures.
- Fully conversant with work control systems and HSE requirements.
- Preferably with management experience in technical support.
- Capability to facilitate the efficient operation of the gas production system to meet contractual requirements, avoid shortfalls and operate within budgets.
- High computer literacy
- Fluent spoken and written in English
Senior Geologist
(Wok Location: Jakarta)
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Chief Reservoir Engineer, this position is accountable to:
- Conducting and guiding subsurface characterization activities related to the appraisal and development. Subsurface activities will require close working relationships with earth scientists, reservoir/petroleum engineers, drilling, completion engineers, facilities engineers, and operations.
- Maintain a detailed field description, incorporating new data and proposing new wells and studies as required.
- Play a central role in building and constructing static geomodel and reservoir modelling process incorporating and integrating geological, geophysical and petrophysical input, and translating the static geomodel to a reservoir simulation model.
- Working with the geophysicist to incorporate the geophysical interpretation into the structural model for the reservoir.
- Collaboration with the Exploration Group, to ensure smooth handover from discovery to appraisal.
- Play a role in identifying production well locations and in the preparation of well, proposal documents and final report and technical notes of subsurface studies
- Play a role in the planning and geological operations of development wells
- Liaise with Joint Venture partners and government on a regular basis
Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Geology or related subject
- Minimum 10 years experience in oil and gas industry, in hands-on static model building, and in fractured carbonate environment
- Experienced user of industry standard mapping and interpretation software, preferably Geoquest
- Experience with 3D modelling software, preferably Petrel, is required
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in dealing with industry regulators and partners
- High computer literacy
- Fluent spoken and written in English
