FIELD SERVICE MANAGER - WIRELINE

(DURI, RIAU)

Job Description

The Field Service Manager is responsible for setting the direction, strategy, as well as development of an ongoing business plan relating to the Wireline service. The position includes developing a sound understanding of financial information, market conditions, market intelligence, and developing close working relationships with key stakeholders such as regional operations, sales/business development, as well as the actual end users of the product.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing a firm understanding for the product being represented and overall being the champion for internally and externally promoting the service of the Wireline product lines.
  • Responsible for understanding financial information such as Profit and Loss on respective product lines and critical key information on Earnings, before Interest and Taxes.
  • Being a direct liaison between product end users, external customers and existing service departments in the region.
  • Understanding and communicating with customers - the ability to understand their needs and then match them to WFT capabilities.
  • Developing short term and long term business plans/ strategies aimed at substantially growing the business.
  • Developing and keeping current, a detailed outline regarding market intelligence analysis, market conditions, market growth, market share, market prices, competitor strengths and weaknesses, forecasting, major alliances and contract outlines.
  • Understanding and/or developing Key Performance Indicators involved and ability to stay in tune with changing needs.
  • Keeping management and others, as required, informed of all aspects of the business through regular reporting means.
  • Developing key alliances with other Regional personnel, Branch Managers, Product Line Managers, and Sales/Business Development teams.
  • Providing recommendations, in conjunction with regional management in all decisions related to respective product line and product development.
  • Identifying new product line potential where applicable.
  • Analyzing and utilizing cost reduction opportunities and minimizing costs.
  • Developing the overall ability to work in volatile markets, i.e. Understanding market conditions, competition, WFT products and what value means to the customer.
  • Successful completion of required mandatory safety courses as designated by Weatherford.
  • Complying with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Travel throughout the various business regions as required facilitating business development opportunities and supporting to operations.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Min. Bachelor (S1) degree in Engineering or Science.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in O&G industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Contractor.
  • Sufficient experience in Wireline Logging Operation.
  • Good customer and employee interpersonal skills
  • Proficient verbal & written English communication skills
  • Willing to be placed permanently in Duri (without rotation schedule)

 

Log Analyst/Petrophysicist Leader

Job Description

  • Supervise and coordinate product & services delivery in accordance to Weatherford and Customer quality standard and procedures.
  • Act as principle technical assistant to the respective Manager.
  • Lead the team in ensure quality and on time delivery of equipment and services within the safety parameter of Weatherford and various oilfield operators.
  • To ensure that the level of risk of any aspect of our business activities results in no harm to personnel, property, the environment or any other interrelated party which may subsequently be affected by the Company activities.
  • Maintains client relations by establishing a positive image and confidence in the quality of services and insures the confidentiality of all logging data.
  • Liasing with clients to ensure timely delivery of accurate final report to satisfaction and confirm all data is archived in line with company's procedures.
  • Provide technical expertise and technical support for quantitative cased hole formation evaluation and Petrophysics studies. Engage in activity involving the development and application of reservoir and Petrophysics methodology using proper data sources from Formation Evaluation productline (Wireline)
  • Collaborate with other petro-technical disciplines and maintain close interaction with logging/Wireline/LWD disciplines for optimum project quality. Liaise with clients, as required.
  • Knowledgeable on the disciplines of geology, reservoir engineering, open and cased hole logging instrumentation, petrophysics, well completions, production engineering and log analysis.
  • To be fully involved in the sales and development effort for the RFE group in Asia Pacific.
  • To deliver internal and external presentations on wireline services technologies as required.
  • To regularly visit customers in order to increase awareness on RFE capabilities.
  • Provides close-contact answer product support and interfaces/advises the client asset team on matters relating to the reservoir performance.
  • Assist with training of newly hired personnel.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Science, Engineering (Geology, Petroleum Engineering)
  • Strong leadership skill.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in relevant Weatherford products & services, as evaluation engineer dealing with open hole log data and cased hole logging data or geoscientist with some years of experience in onshore exploration, particularly unconventional gas would be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years in similar position
  • Good knowledge of oilfield product and services
  • Strong ability to synthesize information and to integrate it into the working project
  • Strong ability to assess geological technical risk of projects to help make informed investment decisions
  • Good overview of exploration and exploitation business.
  • Excellent project management skill.
  • Strong presentation/communication skills in Bahasa & English (written & verbal), ability to communicate at a Technical level with clients and vendors.
  • Relevant software expertise.
