Geomodeller-Reservoir Geophysicist
(Work Location: Jakarta)
Responsibilities:
- Report to the Reservoir Modelling Team Lead, this position is a Petrel Geomodeller with strong reservoir geophysicist background, is accountable in providing technical support to reservoir/development geophysical study (reservoir characterization, seismic attributes, seismic inversion, coherence, geostatistics, etc.) and fracture modelling.
Qualification:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Geophysics.
- A minimum 8 years relevant working experience with oil and gas industry.
- Experience of seismic work (seismic interpretation, inversion and attribute analysis) in full cycle of field development and development drilling.
- Experience in seismic processing would be an advantage.
- Excellent skill utilizing Petrel software and understand the pitfalls.
- Experience in fracture modelling.
- Strong understanding of sedimentology, stratigraphy, petroleum geology, introductory geophysics, geophysical mapping and interpretation and subsurface mapping techniques.
- Good communicator, team player and leadership.
- Ability to work continually within tight timeline
- Fluent in English, spoken and written.
