RISK ADVISOR
Job Descriptions :
Performs the day-to-day execution of the PD Risk Management processes and integrating them to the overall risk portfolio of KNPC. Works under the broad KNPC Risk & KPC guidelines. Maintains projects directorate risks into KNPC ERM software. The incumbent is required to identify, analyze and document the risks associated with projects being executed at Projects Department, as well as monitor the effectiveness of risk management processes and implement needed changes.
Skills :

Main Duties & Responsibilities :
- Prepares work plans for risk assesment and risk management activities and discusses them with PD management, for execution.
- Prepares and administers risk questionnaires to various PD Departments and analyzes responses.
- Performs Risk assessment, Risk Audit, Risk Management Training and Benchmarking with global Risk Management Best Practices.
- Conducts risk related interviews and workshops with representatives of PD Departments.
- Ensures that the risk data and information from various PD Departments is collected and organized relevant to various risk categories and prepares / reviews analysis reports.
- Analyzes the trends in exposure to differents risks and discusses them with the PD Management.
- Measures the effectiveness of various Risk Monitoring & Treatment Plans and works closely with various PD departments to update or revise them as required.
- Keeps the Risk Register up to date and analyzes it on regular basis.
- Understands the PD business processes identified for integration with ERM and peforms/ supports risk treatment and other related activities.
- Works closely with PD departments to define/ refine and implement various risk metrics and limits.
- Continually enchances and maintains the integrated risk-handling model for PD and thereby strengthens PD’s capability to manage risk.
- Keeps abreast of knowledge of the latest Risk management best practices Developing of all Risk Management processes.

IT - SPECIALIST
Job Descriptions :
IT Professional is required to mainly support Projects Department to automate and maintain its core business processes. Maintain PD’s portal. The incumbent is required to participates in technical support, identify, analyses, design, develop and implement of applications to Automate PDs Business Processes . The focus will be on collection of functional and non-functional requirements, system design, and succesful PD-user training. Responsible for ensuring that PD user acceptance testing is performed before application rollout. This is in addition to assisting the PD in planning, coordination for executing projects and reviewing the plans and documentation received from the vendors / consultants.

- Coordinates and completes training of PD users for any application during implementation. Shall also be responsible to ensure that user acceptance testing and end-user training has been provided before the application is promoted to the live environment.

CONTRACT ADVISOR
Job Description :
Contracts professional seek to support Projects Departement to develop and maintain its tender documents and manage its contracts effectively. Performs all activities in the total contracting process for providing services & support of PD operations. Prepares/ reviews tender documents for various contracts / aggrements and prequalification documents in proper formats to ensure full conformity with specified company procedures.
Skills :

- Technical Awareness of software e.g Maximo.
Main Roles & Responsibilities :
- Support Projects Department in contractual matters, Oversee Service Level Agreement Compliance
- Performs Contract Management Audit and Claims Review
- Prepares tender documents for all types of contracts, based on input data received from PD departments / Cross-Functional Teams. Also, reviews tender documents prepared by PD divisions adhoc / project / Consultancy contracts.
- Operates within the laid-down policies and procedure of Commercial departement for PD contracts.
- Takes into account, when contracting services that pricing of the services is based on KNPC’s approved principles, norms and practices.
- Uses Maximo Computer System and electronic communication media such as e-mail, telephone and fax to carry out the work assignment.
- Prepares invitation to bid, also reviews Draft Invitation to Bid documents from Cross-Functional Teams of PD departments
- Prepares, as directed Contracting Plan & Contracting Strategy as well as bid evaluation criteria with inputs from PD management
- Liaises directly with various PD departments / divisions, as necessary to expedite approvals from issue / award of tenders; answer all related Commercial queries.
- Obtains approvals / comments of Draft / Invitation to Bid from appropriate PD Departments including but not limited to Legal and Finance depatments.
- Finalizes and arrange issues Invitation to Bid, Arrange & attends Pre Tender meetings as appropriate and prepares minutes of meetings in consultation with commercial department.
- Obtains approvals as per Financial Authority (FA) / the Delegated Financial Authority (DFA).
- Ensures receipt of performance bank guarantees (PBGs) and valid insurance policies according to contract conditions.
- Assists PD user departments in interpretation of contract clauses as needed during contracts execution, participates, as directed, in negotiations with contractors for finalization of contracts / agreements and settlement of outstanding claims.
- Prepares and reviews variation order requests and prepare documents for further approvals, as per contracts procedures.

Job Description :
The primary responsibilities for a Sr. Project Control Specialist is to provide support in developing and maintaining all process relared to project planning, costing, and resource forecasting. Coordinates prioritization of PD initiatives and assists in definition of PD project portfolio. Regularly monitors and controls PD assigned projects. Developes project performance evaluation reports and recommends corrective actions. Ensures timely program / project delivery and smooth transition. Plans project human resources.

- Measuring all civil works (i.e. Excavation, Backfilling, Soil replacement, slit trenching, Plain concrete, Reinforced concrete, Reinforcement, Sleepers, Block works, Insulation, Water proofing, Pavements, Grouting, Fireproofing, Refractories, Plastering, Painting, Flooring, Finishing, Architectural items, Furniture, doors, Windows, False ceillings, False floors, cable trenches, duck banks, Dykes, Pits, Ditches, Culverts etc.
- Measuring all structural works (i.e. Steel structures, Modification works, Grating, Flooring, Pipe racks, Conveyors, Cable trays, Pipe supports, Stairs, Ladders, Handrails, Cladding, Bolts, Anchor bolts etc.)
- Review of quantities / cost prepared by consultants during FEED stage.
- Reviewing “Key Quantity Summary” submitted by bidders vis-a-vis estimates.
- Assisting in preparation of “Unite rate” items description/quantity estimation for inclusion in EPC contract.
- Assisting in preparation of “Cost Break down Summary” for EPC contract.
- Estimating quantities for civil/structural works associated with other disciplines for example Excavation and Backfilling works for E&I cabling, Duct bank/Road crossing, supports for piping etc.
- Measuring auxiliary items related to other disciplines like Tanks, Plate works, A/C dutcs, Fire fighthing, Plumbing works, Fire alarm, Lighting, Gas detection, Public address system, Paging system.
Qualification:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience:
- 10 years experience in PMC/EPC organizations in the field of Refinery/ Petrochemical industries in handling and taking of quantities as per actual site conditions for arriving at variations in quantities, maintaining, complete measurement records of major projects.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in construction/restoration of marine structures/oil jetties.
