Scheduler

Basic Function:

  • To collect, review and discuss work order inputs like priority, description of work, functional locations etc., for correctness of data.
  • To estimate and plan for timely availability of all resources i.e. manpower, material reservation, equipment and vendor requirements for effective execution without any delays.
  • To monitor progress of work for schedule jobs.
  • To develop task lists for repairs corrective maintenance provides inputs for preventive and predictive maintenance, plant shutdowns and turnarounds.
  • To schedule required resources and infrastructure by maximum utilization of available resources to make the whole planning and scheduling process cost effective.

Main Work Performed and Responsibilities:

  • The prime responsibility is to achieve lowest-cost reliability by assuring that the correct priority work orders are planned and scheduled. Make sure that all the planned resources are available at the right time to avoid any potential delay so that all jobs are executed as planned.
  • Checks incoming work orders for the correct work description, functional location and other master data and makes corrections where required. Also checks the priority of the work order and suggests the priorities to be changed from urgent to normal after analyzing the work. Thus helping in reducing the maintenance cost by reducing unnecessary urgent jobs
  • As a planner possesses the knowledge about operation and maintenance of rotating equipment like centrifugal and reciprocating compressors and pumps. Has an in-depth knowledge of static equipment like furnaces, vessels, heat exchangers, columns, towers, boilers. Repair and maintenance of electric motors, transformers, control valves. Understands the equipment drawings and P & IDs. His technical knowledge helps in better understanding of the scope of work and planning the job requirements.
  • Works towards producing standard templates for work orders, work plans etc. to ensure that time to plan is reduced thus improving the overall effectiveness of the system.
  • Directs and guides the maintenance work by discussing work orders with operations from backlog. Scheduling work orders from backlog, to minimize any idle maintenance hours. Follows up on work progress to minimize variation from plan and optimum use of all resources. Also communicate with Warehouse for highlighting any shortage of material or expediting.
  • Maintains information on backlog jobs pending due to resource unavailability, shutdown etc. and follows up with concerned departments to expedite work.
  • Ensures availability and timely entry of data in the SAP system on maintenance work carried out. Analyses the data to suggest improvements for better control of resources and time making the whole process more cost effective.
  • Prepares regular performance reports, status reports etc. suggesting area of improvements.
  • As a scheduler prepares overall schedule on daily basis, after getting inputs from Planners. Issues daily resource loading for each craft, levels the available resources to make it cost effective by ensuring maximum resources utilization after analyzing the daily schedule
  • Issues on monthly basis the resource histogram, highlighting the craft utilization and suggesting areas for improvement
  • Monitors the daily schedule and issues physical progress report, curves. Issues report on schedule compliance on daily and weekly basis.
  • Uses the computer system to maximum advantage for generating schedules, regular reports and analysis.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma in Engineering with minimum 6 years work experience in this area of work.
  • Should have excellent communications skills for communicating verbally and in writing with operations, warehouse, day maintenance and inspection.
  • Good understanding of maintenance requirements in terms of resources, infrastructure, and spare parts etc.
  • Ability to use the computerised system. Should be able to use MS office package for reporting and presentations.
  • Expertise in P3 is required. Experience in using any CMMS and SAP is a must.

 

Cost Control Engineer

Basic Function:

  • Responsible for setting up systems and procedures, and organize work in order to plan, control and report maintenance costs, in particular as due to contractor work and projects.

Main Work Performed and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares budgets for maintenance contracts
  • Develops cost estimates for new project proposals
  • Prepares maintenance budgets for management approval
  • Assists line management in controlling maintenance budgets
  • Sets up and monitors a cost control system and acts as arbiter in complicated discussions about billing
  • Is responsible for setting up and maintaining a maintenance cost data base
  • Reviews and approves cost control procedures of (sub-)contractors
  • Prepares, analyses and where necessary reports cost variations
  • Monitors physical progress and expenditures for projects

Requirements/ competencies:

  • Graduation degree or equivalent technical qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline (Mechanical preferred).
  • Knowledge and understanding of various systems, equipment and processes existing in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
  • Ability to use the computerized maintenance management systems at expert level.
  • 6-7 years work experience in the field of Planning and Maintenance.
  • Knowledge of English.
  • Cultural awareness, Works accurately, Cost conscious.

 

Contract Engineer

  • Reporting to the Maintenance Services Manager, you will be part of the maintenance services team and will be responsible for:
  • Participating in preparation of Services Orders, budgetary estimates for contract works, monitoring contract costs, evaluating contractor performance and periodic reporting.
  • Participating in administration and control of all outsourced services and manpower related to all maintenance activities carried out in the Division.
  • Assisting in identifying maintenance works suitable for contracting out and in preparation of detailed technical specifications and scope of work thereof.
  • Participating in work directions to assigned outsourced manpower in carrying out maintenance works on equipment.
  • Assisting in implementation of Companys HSE rules & procedures for contractors.


Laboratory Technician

Basic Function and Scope:

  • to perform all analytical testing for process streams, maintenance and HSE related samples

Task, Duties and Accountabilities:

  • To perform a variety of quantitative and qualitative laboratory tests and analysis of gas, hydrocarbon, chemical, water and various other substances, in accordance with established testing methods and instructions.
  • To obtain process and utility unit samples in conformance with Company, HSE and International Standards and Practices.
  • To analyze, compute and record sample test data and results, suing computer Controlled Laboratory Systems (LIMS) and Business object reporting software.
  • To comply with all relevant Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) regulations, in the performance of all activities.
  • To report any instrument operating faults and apparatus damage to the immediate shift supervisor.
  • To comply with all company Health, Safety and Environment as well as Work Permit, Policies and procedures.
  • To Prepare and standardize chemical reagents used in laboratory tests and online analyzers.
  • To train and develop the assigned staff with emphasis to UAE Nationals.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 8 years Experience in the same field
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Very good communication skills

Technician (High Pressure)

Basic Function:

  • Perform testing and calibration of High Pressure system comprising high pressure cylinders, HP valves & pipes, HP compressor components as a part of corrective and preventive maintenance on daily basis.
  • Coordinate with contractor personnel to clarify scope and get the job done within target, identify and justify the requirement of emergency spares, assist in material purchasing.

Main Work Performed and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all HP related tasks are carried out in compliance with underlying Health, Safety & Environment rules and procedure.
  • Raise Safety incident /near miss / close call reports as required.
  • Carry out inspection of tools and accessories on daily basis.
  • Carry out physically checks for the availability of required spare parts, materials and consumables
  • Provides tools and documents to field maintenance crew.
  • Conduct maintenance of Hyper Compressor cylinder and moving frame.
  • Refurbish of complex HP sealing system of Hyper compressors.
  • Refurbish and functionality test of hyper cylinder lubrication system
  • Conduct routine maintenance testing of HP manifolds & piping
  • Conduct HP valve function testing.
  • Carry out jobs inside LDPE shop in complete dust free environment.
  • Schedule compliance and work order confirmation on SAP
  • Coordinate with concerned contractors day to day activities and ensure that all jobs are prioritized and done as scheduled.
  • Follow up PM execution of LDPE workshop equipment
  • Check time sheets for Contractors staff
  • Coordinate with planning, operation, inspection and mechanical maintenance team in day to day job delivery
  • Maintain and record check lists.
  • Ensure housekeeping at shop and site as and where it applies
  • Feedback and keep track on backlog
  • Obtain the all documents related HP components in hand.
  • Register & control tools and gears required for LDPE shop

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years Diploma or Trade course on High Pressure Equipment system plus secondary school certificate.
  • Good knowledge on LDPE system.
  • At least 4 years in the same role and 8-10 years practical experience on maintenance of HP shop in oil/gas/petrochemical Industry.
  • Good knowledge in industrial HSE aspects.
  • Good level in spoken English.
  • Working experience with multi-disciplinary function in multicultural environment.

 

Technician (Low Pressure)

Basic Function :

  • To perform maintenance, testing & calibration of LP components of compressors, valves & piping as scheduled by planning team to meet operational requirement.

Main Work Performed & Responsibilities :

  • Refurbish of components of compresssors, Valves and piping as a part of PM & corrective maintenance
  • Conduct hydraulic & pneumatic test of general valves, pipe spools and piping components as per test chart
  • Carry out physical checks for the availability of spares material and consumables and report of any shortage
  • Lead and guide the fabrication of contractor to execute schedule jobs and confirm work orders. Provide support to get necessary materials as required
  • Coordinate with planning, inspectors, maintenance team, and plant operators at site to get job scope / drawing and other logistics for the execution team
  • Ensure housekeeping in both shop and site to keep valve shop / components dust free. Put all components are in order

Requirements :

  • Minimum 2 years Trade course on valves maintenance with minimum High School
  • 8 - 10 Years practical experience on maintenance of HP shop in Oil / Gas & Petrochemical Industry
  • Communication in english, hard worker, and good executor.

 

Material Engineer (E&I)

  • Industry : Oil and Gas / petrochemical
