PT. Leighton Contractors Indonesia is a part of the Leighton Asia India Offshore, one of Asia's largest project development and contracting group with annual revenue exceeding US$1 billion. We are seeking calibre candidates for the following positions based Indonesia:

 

Senior Engineer – Civil (Architect)

Responsibilities

To support the manager in coordinating the architectural design and engineering activities with the prime objective of ensuring construction activities are built as per design and specification, in line with LCI health and safety procedures and with the objective of meeting project timelines and budgets.

Requirements:

  • Degree in civil / architectural design engineer, or related disciplines
  • 7 – 10 years experience in civil/construction
  • Familiar with auto CAD(2D/3D), 3D max/Vi2, corel draw, adobe photoshop, power point.
  • Have extensive on-site experience performing construction, road or civil projects.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Indonesian citizen.

 

Senior Quantity Surveyor

To manage project value analysis, contract requirement realization and progress/cost variations to all existing LCI projects with the prime objective of minimizing the commercial risk and maintaining the alignment between the project plan and the realization of the project.

Responsibilities:

  • To manage the preparation of various Quantity Surveying documents including budgetary estimates from sketch drawings, Bill of Quantities for all disciplines and Costs Estimates.
  • To attend tender procedure and prepare tender report and support commercial manager to support the tender process
  • To organize the preparation and monitoring of the execution of contract and contractual correspondences as well as contractor’s valuation
  • To ensure the cost evaluation/projection preparation to meet the requirements of works in progress
  • To review monthly statement which includes but not limited to recommendation on interim payments, statement of claims from contractor, anticipated claims from contractor and assessment of costs of works and expected final cost.
  • To direct the regulation and review the accuracy and relevancy of subcontractors’ applications for payment, variation submission and pursuit of claims and advise requirement of contract.
  • To review the variation orders report
  • To provide assistance to Contracts Manager / Commercial Manager on contractual issues, in preparing and approving contractor’s final accounts and finalize the account of project
  • To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in civil engineering, construction or related disciplines
  • Quantity survey certificate or diploma
  • 8 - 10 years experience
  • Have extensive on-site experience performing quantity survey in construction, road or civil projects.
  • Have experience in leading a surveyor team
  • Experience working at civil contractor is preferred

 

Quantity Surveyor (MEP)

  • To prepare cost evaluation/projection to meet the requirements of works in progress
  • Inspect site for collation of information for monthly statement which includes but not limited to recommendation on interim payments, statement of claims from contractor, anticipated claims from contractor and assessment of costs of works and expected final cost.

  • Have few years of on-site experience performing quantity survey in construction, road or civil projects.
  • Have experience in collaborating with a surveyor team
  • Experience working at civil contractor is preferred

 

 Officer – Procurement

To arrange the acquisition of goods/materials at which he has been assigned according to agreed plan, with the prime objective of securing shortage, optimize the efficient supplier selection at the best commercial terms, and in compliance with the prevailing procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • To maintain the data completion and data integrity of supplier and pricing database in order to obtain quality products at best commercial terms negotiable in the market.
  • To produce and administer all purchase orders in order to fulfill the demand of goods which are required to perform company’s core activities effectively.
  • To update the purchase order tracking system on a regular basis in order to ensure accurate tracking in terms of goods delivery, invoices received and payment made.
  • To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of senior/technical high school or trade qualification is preferred.
  • Deep knowledge upon procurement procedure & safety legal requirements.
  • 1 – 2 years experience.
  • Have experience in inventory control, warehouse and procurement.
  • Experience working at mining/civil contractor is preferred.

 

Officer - IT

To administer the Company information technology systems with the objective of ensuring uninterrupted access to and security of company information.

Responsibilities:

  • To administer and maintain company IT systems and infrastructure including hardware and software requirement in order to facilitate efficient information sharing and storage.
  • To facilitate end-user support (queries and concerns) in order to increase productivity of end-users.
  • To maintain and update internal security features in the IT system in order to maintain integrity of company sensitive information.
  • To maintain a register of all computer and information management system equipment including software in order to ensure compliance with license agreements and internal company procedures.
  • To administer and maintain company IT system and equipment including photocopies, printers, faxes in order to ensure high efficiency of equipment.
  • To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures in order to ensure the excellent safety record and encourage employee participation in health and safety matters in order to comply with statutory requirements and HSE expectation.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in an IT related field
  • 1 - 2 years experience
  • Relevant document control experience in software and hardware setup administration is preferred.
  • Have an exposure of IT procedures.
  • Experience working at mining/civil contractor is preferred
