ENG. (A) MANUFACTURING EXCELLENCE (MOG)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 6 years direct working experience in petroleum refining industry, including exposure to petroleum economics, planning and scheduling.
• Knowledge of refinery process units basic functions and their internal streams integration along with oil movements systems and Inter Refinery Transfer Systems across KNPC.
• High proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Good Understanding of Refinery Processes and Economics
• Good Knowledge of petroleum product pricing KPIs & Balance Scorecard
• Knowledge of refinery processes especially for KNPC refineries ( integration, limitation & capabilities )
• Good Experience in the use of Mass Reconciliation packages ( Aspen ADVISOR, etcx.).

ENG DRILLING

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning & Operations input as well as execution for drilling development wells offshore.
• Work independently to perform technical drilling engineering for well design, cost estimates, project planning & review of rig design, overall major project drilling operations for performance optimization.
• Participate in field reviews, peer reviews, optimization studies, and local operational knowledge/experience gathering.
• Wells are managed from the cradle to the grave, all 5 phases of CPDEP in this position.
• Other duties will include contract Management, performance tracking, writing SOPs, offshore visits, and onshore Drilling Superintendent relief.
• This position will work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop drilling services contract, both strategically & tactically on a daily basis across all operations, working to CHESM guidelines.
• Initially this position will be addressing a new operation start up from scratch requiring all contracts & materials to be put in place.

Education Qualification:

Bachelor Degree Engineering / Science

Work Experience:

• 10 + Years of experience in drilling and completion optimization, directional drilling & work over operations, well servicing (coiled tubing, acidizing, life boat operations) including program development & operational execution.
• Offshore operational drilling experience. Ability to coordinate a multitude of personnel & equipment in a fast paced multi-tasking drilling & completions environment.

CONTRACT ADVISOR

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Develop Project Contracts and associated commercial documents to implement Project Contracting Plans.
• Manages the bidding, awarding and administering of activities associated with Projects Contracts sourcing.
• Manages and administers Project Contracts after award.
• Manages commercial claims and disputes associated with Project Contracts.
• Serves as primary point of contract for contractors, Reviews and/or drafts contractual correspondence.
• Co-ordinates verification of approval of contract payment milestones and processes for project team approval of work tickets.
• Provide contract interpretation and advice to Project Team members as required.
• Develops, gains approval of and executes a procedure for managing contract claims and change orders.
• Assists the business unit’s supply chain management group with bidding, awarding and administering procurement contracts as required.

Education Qualification:

• High School Graduate with 10 years directly related experience
• BS, MBA in Engineering or Commercial Management Field Preferred

Work Experience:

10 + Years of direct Major Capital Project Contracting Development and Management experience with higher level degree.
