Sr Production Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Provide production engineering advice and support to maximize the offshore and onshore operations' efficiency
  • Mentor more junior production and operations engineers
  • Senior member of the team that provides production engineering support to field operations
  • Provides production data and reports on asset performance to senior management, business partners and government
  • Review well test and operating data in order to improve efficiency, raise production and reduce operating costs
  • Ensure Prosper well models are kept up to date
  • Develop and improve techniques to actively monitor and optimize gas, oil and condensate production
  • Actively participate in the Production Optimization process to proactively identify, develop and implement opportunities (opex & capex) to enhance production
  • Responsible for the preparation of the short term production forecast
  • Updating the Integrated capacity model
  • Maintain a network model for production optimization
  • Key liaison between subsurface, drilling and operations staff
  • Provide input into completion designs (including gas lift design) and influence drilling and completion design for future wells
  • Plan and supervise rig less well interventions
  • Plan work over programs
  • Work closely with field personnel to manage well and Christmas tree integrity, including corrosion monitoring
  • Assist in preparation and maintenance of annual operation's team budget

Qualification:

  • A BSc or Master Degree in Engineering, preferably Petroleum
  • 10+ years experience in oil and gas operations, production engineering , subsurface or completions environment
  • Computer literacy: Word, Excel, Power Point, email, internet, OFM, Petroleum Experts Suite
  • Fluent spoken and written English

 

Completion Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for a variety of completions engineering assignments requiring general familiarity with a broad field of completions engineering
  • Performs calculations and maintains documentation relating to a variety of completions activities such as tubular good usage, completions fluids, well head configuration and well status at handover
  • Conducts studies, analysis, interpretation and conclusions of routine and non-routine problems independently
  • Prepares completions and well testing programs
  • Production modelling (Prosper, etc) including zonal isolation (ICD's) MPAS packers, oil and water swellables
  • Developing scopes of work and bid evaluation
  • Developing completion cost models, generating well AFEs and monitoring completions costs
  • Prepares contract technical bid documentation and tender evaluation
  • Performs completions program forecasting and well budgeting (AFE)
  • Initiates material orders and services personnel requisitions, maintains rental tool inventory and verifies and approves work performed by contractor and service companies

Qualification:

  • Minimum BS Degree of Petroleum Engineering or other related disciplines
  • A minimum of 5-8 years experience in a broad range of completions activities incl. completions operations, well planning and well design
  • Computer literate (Ms Office, completions reporting software and completions applications such as torque/drag modeling and production modelling)
  • Fluent written and spoken English

 

Sr Exploration Geologist

Responsibilities:

  • Opportunity identification, evaluation, and capture
  • Play-prospect evaluation of opportunities identified through proactive basin screening
  • Probabilistic assessment of petroleum volumes and risk
  • Contributor to timely evaluation-recommendation towards opportunity capture, including bid-round and farm-in opportunities
  • Strong individual contributor and team player
  • Effective project management, ability to multi-task
  • Mentoring of colleagues and junior staff

Qualification:

  • Bachelor Degree in geoscience/physics subject is essential, a relevant Master degree
  • A minimum of 10 years experience in oil and gas exploration
  • Experience and expertise to include: subsurface mapping, well-seismic integration, cross sections, fluid systems, probabilistic volumetrics, and risking
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills and commitment to continued learning and improvement.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Well-developed sharing, lessening and collaboration skills are highly valued
  • Comfortable with aggressive timelines
  • Fluent written and spoken English


Drilling Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Drilling input to new and existing development scopes
  • Responsible for proposing well concepts and feasibility studies, and subsequent development/delivery including assessing new technology and innovative solutions
  • Responsible for detailed well design, including compliance with P&P and Well Examination
  • Responsible for QC of all post well reporting and lessons, including but not limited to EOWR, NPT Reporting and Lessons Learned
  • Provide Peer Review and Operational support as required to other Projects both domestically and regionally
  • Participate in management and development of the department through involvement in improvement of processes, procedures and systems
  • Responsible for planning activities including appropriate documentation associated with well design during the scoping, design, planning stages of the Well Delivery Excellence (WDX) Process
  • Responsible for Drilling input to contract strategies. Subsequently responsible for scopes of work, ITT preparation and tender evaluation (technical) with input to commercial evaluation and recommendation to award for all Drilling related contracts
  • Preparation and maintenance of well budgets, schedules, AFE and daily costing in line with operations and planning schedule
  • Provide support (costs, concepts, timings) for Business Development with regard to Acquisitions and Disposals
  • Ensure timing and cost estimate (including AFE's) are generated using UNRISKIT (probabilistic estimates based on appropriate offset historical information)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum BS Degree in Engineering. Petroleum Engineering is preferable.
  • A minimum of 6 years experience in a broad range of drilling activities incl. drilling operations, well planning and well design
  • Computer literate (Ms Office, drilling reporting software and drilling applications such as directional modelling)
  • Experience with Landmark drilling software package
  • Fluent written and spoken English

 

Sr Development Geologist

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain a detailed field description, incorporating new data and proposing new wells and studies as required.
  • Play a central role in building and constructing static geomodel and reservoir modelling process incorporating and integrating geological, geophysical and petrophysical input, and translating the static geomodel to a reservoir simulation model
  • Play a role in identifying production well locations and in the preparation of well, proposal documents and final report and technical notes of subsurface studies
  • Play a role in the planning and geological operations of development wells
  • Liaise with Joint Venture partners and government on a regular basis

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor degree in Geology or closely related subject
  • Minimum 10 years experience in oil and gas industry, in hands-on static model building, and in fractured carbonate environment
  • Experienced user of industry standard mapping and interpretation software, preferably Geoquest
  • Experience with 3D modelling software, preferably Petrel, is required
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in dealing with industry regulators and partners
  • Fluent written and spoken English

 

Sr Facilities Engineer

Responsibilities :

  • Provide technical assistance to Operations group for related to Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines in order to meet production targets
  • Act as Electrical Duty Holder (Technical Authority - Electrical) approves change(s) in Electrical-related fields/equipment
  • Review Electrical Safety work practices, assess each Electrical Responsible personnel working in the Electrical area, work together with the related Global Advisor - Electrical to assess and audit the implementation of Electrical safe work practices on regular basis
  • Address Electrical and Instrumentation issues during facility upgrade /modification projects
  • Ensure that all upgrades / modifications are in compliance with specifications as well as applicable international codes/ standards and local government regulations.
  • Prepare specifications, work scope etc. for contractors and participate in bidding exercise
  • Oversee the work performed by design contractors and third party vendors
  • Perform site visit to the facilities and contractor's work location to ensure that the work is being carried out safely and meets the required quality standards
  • Prepare cost estimates, schedules and budget as per company requirements
  • Provide training and guidance to peers and operations team
  • Understand the design and operation of the facilities
  • Study the relevant documents and make frequent visits facilities
  • Attend applicable external courses
  • Assess the problems on the facilities and recommend changes to alleviate the same
  • Perform technical assessment of the problem, make recommendation and follow up with necessary action
  • Ensure that the upgrades /modifications carried out comply with the above specifications/codes/standards/regulations
  • Carefully review the design documents and evaluate with assistance from all concerned parties

Qualifications:

  • 7 years experience in oil and gas operations, several years in electrical/facilities engineering specifically in electrical is required
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable codes, standards and company specifications related to Electrical, Power Generation & Distribution, and Instrumentation and ability to apply the same in operations of the facilities experience in design, fabrication, testing, commissioning and operations of oil and gas facilities are required
  • Experience and understanding of other disciplines such as Structural, Mechanical both Rotating and Stationary, Instrumentation, etc. are preferable
