McConnell Dowell is a foreign owned Company; our fabrication services span structural steel and marine structures, mechanical steelwork and process piping, process modules and pre-assembled racks, concrete structures, concrete modules and Subsea structures. Now we are working on the wheatstone LNG Project.

 

PIPE WELDING SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities:

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in welding and cutting of products and pipe structures
• Applying knowledge of welding and cutting techniques, materials, and equipment, and fabrication requirements
• Analyzes work orders and blueprints to determine need for supplies and sequence of operations required.
• Requisitions supplies, such as weld rods, gas, flux, and fixtures.
• Inspects work or confers with WELDING INSPECTOR to maintain specified standards and quality.
• Trains workers in operation of equipment.
• May set up machines or make trial welds to make test runs and experimental products.
• May supervise brazing and soldering operations.
• Important variations include location of workers supervised, such as in-plant, shop, construction site

Requirements:

• Male Max. 40 Years old.
• Diploma / University Degree
• Min. 5 Year Experience in Steel Fabrication Company.
• Good understanding with international standard of raw materials such as ASTM, AS, EN, etc.
• Good understanding international welding codes / standards like AWS code, ASME, etc.
• Understanding NDE and procedures.
• Understanding quality principle, standards and processes.
• Good in English proficiency both verbal & written.
• Computer literate
• Able to work under pressure to meet the deadline.
• Able to work in a Team.

 

STRUCTURAL STEEL INSPECTOR

Responsibilities:

• Monitoring, instructing, correcting and reporting the working practices of Contractor where necessary;
• Implementing the release note system to ensure that material and welder traceability, dimensional control and NDE are implemented and documented properly;
• Providing assistance and guidance to all Company team members for related matters, particularly for welding sequence, E/I supports, piping supports or temporary supports (installation and removal);
• Informing Managers and Supervisors of any quality issues noticed, and implementing instructions from them;
• Planning regular visits to cover and inspect the activities carried out by production in the shop;
• Promoting and adhering to the HSE Company Policy.
• Performing visual inspection of structural installation including:
  • Verifying structural material identity (beam, plate and fittings) and its conformance to the installation drawings
  • Verifying that welding inspection has been performed and joints have been released
  • Verification that dimensions and alignment tolerances of the structural systems are as per constructs specifications
  • In-process surveillance to verify compliance with specified structural erection procedure including flange alignments, cleanliness etc.
• Performing structural walkdown inspection and completing punch lists. Verifying that punch list items have been dealt with in accordance with the contractual arrangements.
• Completing and endorsing all inspection records from initial inspection till final acceptance of the structural systems

Requirements:

• Male Max. 40 Years old.
• Diploma / University Degree
• Experience for inspection of material traceability, construction, dimensional control and welding;
• Good knowledge of structural construction practices
• Good Knowledge of NDT;
• Good knowledge of welding for high thickness steel, heat straightening, post weld heat treatment;
• Understanding of detail design and shop drawings;
• Experience in fabrication of similar items;
• Computer literate
• Able to work under pressure to meet the deadline.
• Able to work in a Team.

 

PIPING INSPECTOR

Responsibilities:

• Performing visual inspection of piping installation including:
  • Verifying piping material identity (pipe, valves and fittings) and its conformance to the installation drawings
  • Verifying that welding inspection has been performed and joints have been released
  • Verification that dimensions and alignment tolerances of the piping systems are as per constructs specifications
  • In-process surveillance to verify compliance with specified piping erection procedure including flange alignments, torquing, cleanliness etc.
• Performing piping walkdown inspection and completing punch lists. Verifying that punch list items have been dealt with in accordance with the contractual arrangements.
• Reviewing and verifying completeness of piping test packages (hydro or pneumatic) prior to testing.
• Witnessing final piping tests.
• Completing and endorsing all inspection records from initial inspection till final acceptance of the piping systems
• Maintaining interface with the Client (at the shop level) to ensure that all contractual and code requirements are met as far as the inspection scope is concerned.

Requirements:

• Male Max. 40 Years old.
• Diploma / University Degree
• Suitable candidates should at least have five (5) years of experience as QC Inspector of which at least 3 years in piping inspection. At least 2 years of experience in inspection of oil, gas and petrochemical projects.
• Experience in welding inspection or fabrication of piping and vessels to international codes (ASME, AWS) would be beneficial.
• Candidate Inspectors shall have a demonstrated background and thorough knowledge of codes such as ANSI B31.3, 31.4 and 31.8, ASME section I, and other piping system installation related codes and standards
• Understanding quality principle, standards and processes.
• Good in English proficiency both verbal & written.
• Computer literate
• Able to work under pressure to meet the deadline.
• Able to work in a Team.

 

CNC CUTTING AND MACHINE SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities:

• Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
• Reads and interprets blueprints
• Supervise properly and safely loads and unloads castings and raw materials in CNC machinery
• Supervise the uses of gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
• Supervise perform daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on CNC machinery
• Supervise organization and maintenance of the machine tasks on CNC machinery
• Supervise CNC operators
• Complies with all quality policies, specification, regulations and instructions
• Communicates thoughts and ideas, both verbally and in writing, to co-workers and management

Requirements:

• Male Max. 45 Years old.
• High School or Diploma Degree
• Ability to reads and interprets blueprints
• Good communication skills
• 4 years related experience
• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
• Communicates honestly, professionally and respectfully with others and demonstrates effective listening skills

 

QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Responsibilities:

• To carry out continual valuations of work in progress, including forecasting of final costs and sales
• Prepare and monitor project cashflow forecasts.
• Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.
• Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence
• Assist in preparation and adherence to project purchasing targeting and costing budgets
• Manage and produce accurate formal reports in accordance with business timetable
• Supply all relevant information to the Project Manager for review at the specified intervals set
• Monitor all commercial information

Requirements:

• Technically qualified in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 4 years Quantity Surveying experience
• Multi tasking, self motivated , energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
• Have good practical organisation skills, planning of resources and programme schedulling
• Good communication of written and spoken English
• Smart and professional appreance.
• Communicates honestly, professionally and respectfully with others and demonstrates effective listening skills

 

ENVIRONMENT OFFICER

Requirements:

• Have SMK3 Certificate, OHSAS 18001
• Have 3 years working experience
• Familiar and update all the environment regulation in Indonesia and local regulation
• Capable to process environment permit
• Knowledge of different issues concerning HSE practices in Oil and Gas industry/Installation
• Knowledge of Environment Risk Analysis, Environment and Safety Analysis and Environment incident Reporting System, First Aid, Occupational illness and Emergency Evacuation

 

SAFETY COORDINATOR

Requirements:

• Have SMK3 Certificate, OHSAS 18001
• Have 3 years working experience
• Knowledge of various safety equipment like fire extinguishers, breathing apparatus, gsa detectors etc
• Capable of conducting site safety surveillance and identifying potentially hazardous situations and initiate means to rectify the same
• Knowledge of different issues concerning HSE practices in Oil and Gas industry/Installation
• Knowledge of Environment Risk Analysis, Environment and Safety Analysis and Environment incident Reporting System, First Aid, Occupational illness and Emergency Evacuation

 

MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• Plan and monitor the work schedues and to ensure on time completion
• Check site drawings for accuracy and completeness for work
• Liaise with customers site representatives and sub-contractors
• Maintain proper process documentation

Requirements:

• Male Max. 40 Years old.
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• At least 3 years working experience in implementing project works
• Knowledge of AutoCAD
• Must have positive attitude and the ability to communicate well with all levels
• Good in English proficiency both verbal & written.
• Computer literate
• Able to work under pressure to meet the deadline.
• Able to work in a Team.
• Strong analytical, good in communication and result oriented.
• Having ability in networking and maintain relationship with customers.
