SECTION HEAD, OPERATION

Plans, Supervises and directs the operation of the units and systems in his assigned section of Refinery operations. Participates in planning and scheduling of operations and shutdowns for his units and coordinates all maintenance and inspection work for the respective units. Coordinates training and follows up programs and progress.

Education Details :

• Bachelor's degree in CHEMICAL ENGINEERING OR EQUIVALENT.

Related Work Experience:

• 10 years of work experience in refinery operation, process control and associate areas of which at least 2 years should be in supervisory capacity.

 

ENG (A) MATERIALS

Education Details :

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical engineering

Related Work Experience:

• 6 years experience in Oil or Petrochemical Industry, in handling Cataloguing / Material Specifications review / Technical Evaluation of Offers / Review of MTC & TPI Certificates / Inspection of received Materials / Procurement / Inventory Control Functions.

 

ENG (A) CONTRACT

Coordinates and controls activities pertaining to contracts preparation and related documentation. Reviews all contracts/ agreements to ensure full conformity with specified company standards. Assists in preparation of contracts packages. Coordinates between LM department, other KNPC departments/refineries and contractors. Participates in progress review meetings.

Education Details:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical/instrumentation/ Manufacturing /Industrial/Chemical Engineering or equivalent.

Related Work Experience:

• 6 years experience in preparation and administration of contracts, handling claims/variations and related documentation in refinery or petrochemical industries.

Others:

• Sound Knowledge of contract terms and conditions and commercial contract law.

 

Sr. ENG PSM

Plans, Supervises coordinates and controls the activities of the Process Safety Management ( PSM ) section and ensures optimum utilization of the manpower allotted to him. Responsibilities include, plaining, developing, roll, out, implementing, maintaining and managing Process Safety Systems within allotted territory. Develop and run PSM improvements programs and audits to avaluate and measure performance. Keeps abreast with latest industry development related to PSM and impart training. Performs duties as a PSM enforcement authority, PSM competency center and will be the "Site PSM coordinator" with the objective of achieving zero process incidents.

Related Education

• Bachelor's Degree Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical /Instrumentation /Industrial / Safety/Fire/Safety & Fire Engineering.

Additional Training

• (Desirable) -Leadership Training in PSM, Certified Lead Auditor OHSAS 18001

Related Work Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Refinery Safety or Operations

Sr. ENG PROCESS

Education Details :

• Bachelor's Degree CHEMICAL/ PETROLEUM ENGINEERING.

Related Work Experience:

• 8 years experience in Process Engineering in a Petroleum Refinery/EPC Phase including 2 years in a supervisory capacity.

 

ENG OPERATING

Assists the concerned Section Head in the day-to-day functioning enabling him to concentrate on plant trouble shooting, improvement in systems & procedures and other developmental activities. Participates in planning and scheduling of operations, start-up and shutdown of units and co-ordinates all maintenance, process engineering, inspection and safety related work for the assigned units.

Education Details :

• Bachelor's Degree in CHEMICAL ENGINEERING OR EQUIVALENT.

Related work Experience:

• 6 years relevant experience in refinery

Others :

• Computer proficiency in MS Office(For reports generation, Startup/Shutdown plans etc.).

 

ENG (B) PLANNING

Assists and support Senior Engineer in all activities of Short-Term Planning which include preparation of the Global Short-Term Plan through data gathering, developing the simulation scenariors, running the LP Model and Preparing the reports; executes LP model simulation for evaluating the Profitability and feasibility of short-term opportunities; executes bacl casting process and identifies variances between actual and planned performance, along with the corresponding root causes.

Education Details :

• Bachelor's Degree Chemical Engineering or Equivalent.

Related Work Experience

• 8 years direct working experience in the petroleum refining industry, including exposure to petroleum economics, planning and scheduling. Understanding of HC Supply Chain Process and Economic + Extensive Knowledge and use of LP model (PIMS). Knowledge of Refinery Processes especially for KNPC Refineries (Integration, Limitations, & Capabilities ).

Others

• Knowledge of refinery process units, basic functions and their internal streams integration along with oil movements system and Inter Refinery Transfer Systems across KNPC.

 

ENG (A) ELECTRICAL DESIGN

Performs engineering work , especially of complex nature, related to electrical design procurement and construction aspects for modification project of revenue nature & capital projects handled by the refinery. Studies and implements corrective measures and solutions to engineering problems. Attends to special assignments, projects & studies.

Education Details:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Related Work Experience:

• 6 years diversified experience in electrical engineering including design, project engineering activities in high technology industry preferably in refineries or petrochemical plants.

 

ENG (A) MECH DESIGN (ROTATING)

Education Details:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Related Work Experience:

• 6 years experience in Rotator Equipments and machineries design including Specification preparation and Material selection in refineries/processing/petrochemical plants

 

ENG (A) MECH DESIGN (STATIC&PIPING)

Education Details:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Related Work Experience:

• 6 years experience in Static and Package Equipments/machineries design and Piping Process including Specification preparation and Material selection in refineries/processing/petrochemical plants
