PTTEP is a national petroleum exploration and production company dedicating to provide a sustainable petroleum supply to Thailand and the countries we operate. A top-ten publicly- listed company in the Stock Exchange of Thailand. PTTEP operates more than 40 projects around the world and has a workforce of 4,000.

Announced on May 18, 2010, PTTEP and its consortium won the exploration rights for four blocks in offshore Indonesia.

We are looking for eligible candidate to join our growing multinational company in below position :


Senior Geologist

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all geological works, ensuring quality and reliability of works in compliance with regulation and in line with company's goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with other team members to coordinate required exploration activities and to ensure that all geological works are carried out efficiently, safely and timely according to work program and budget
  • Improve, acquire and ensure the consistency and quality of geological technologies, procedures and methodologies
  • Coordinate and cooperate effectively with other disciplines to ensure viability and alignment on work programs and budget.
  • Assess, monitor, and negotiate with service companies, ensuring that appropriate contractors / services are selected on unprejudiced basis and contracts cover all required scope of work and protect company's interests.
  • Coordinate and participate actively in technical meeting/ presentations concerning work progress, interpretation results and related technical recommendations, ensuring quality of technical discussion and decision.
  • Assist management in planning and monitoring work plans and coordinating with related parties to optimize costs and value.
  • Coach, motivate and develop less experience team members.
  • Implement and promote company's SSHE policy and regulations in all work under responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Geology
  • Professional knowledge and experience in Geology with at least 10-15 years experience in the petroleum exploration industry.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Good computer skills and ability to use standard software for exploration works.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

 

Senior Geophysicist

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all geophysical works, ensuring quality and reliability of works in compliance with regulation and in line with company's goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with other team members to coordinate required exploration activities and to ensure that all geophysical works are carried out efficiently, safely and timely according to work program and budget

Geophysicist

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all geophysical works, ensuring quality and reliability of works in compliance with regulation and in line with company's goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with senior team members to coordinate required exploration activities and to ensure that all geophysical works are carried out efficiently, safely and timely according to work program and budget
  • Improve, acquire and ensure the consistency and quality of geophysical technologies, procedures and methodologies
  • Coordinate and cooperate effectively with other disciplines to ensure viability and alignment on work programs and budget.
  • Assess, monitor, and negotiate with service companies, ensuring that appropriate contractors / services are selected on unprejudiced basis and contracts cover all required scope of work and protect company's interests.

Requirements:

  • Good computer skills and ability to use standard software for exploration work.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

 

Public Affair & Relation Officer

Responsibilities :

  • Support senior professionals as they implement CSR/PR policies and procedures in their work at PTTEP.
  • Provide general CSR/PR information for customers in their areas of responsibility.
  • Assist/participate in CSR/PR projects and activities under close supervision.
  • Perform data entry and report activities, including compilation, preparation, and analysis.
  • Monitor operational compliance with CSR/PR policies, processes and procedures.
  • Proactively propose improvement/ correction in the CSR/PR processes/ actions.

Government Relations:

  • Promote, maintain and strengthen effective working relation and relationship with key government offices. Organize activities to strengthen relationship between PTTEP Management and government officials.
    • Coordinate and participate in the visit of government officials to PTTEP as well as the visit of PTTEP executive to government agencies to create and maintain good connections.
    • Coordinate charity and inquires from government agencies to management for further action.
  • Follow up and report on the direction and movements of government's policies to Management as well as provide PTTEP information to concerned government agencies to enhance positive understanding toward PTTEP.
    • Closely coordinate with government officials for accessing the government's policies and movement that would affect PTTEP business and activity, as well as inform that movement to management in order to prevent the potential problem.
  • Update CV of key government officials, as well as provide supporting information and assist other functions in dealing with those government agencies and officials for supporting key operations.

Other:

  • Manages filing system, database and tracking system to be easily searched and retrieved.
  • Consistently follow up, coordinate and keep inform/report of the work progress.
  • Always assist other units in Department and cross-function.
  • Follow the Company's SSHE policies and regulations in all work under responsibility.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations or related fields
  • At least 3 years experience in CSR/PR/ Media (preferably in oil & gas business)
  • Good written and spoken English (TOEIC Score Requirement : 650)
  • Attend basic PR training
  • Good in computer and Microsoft office
  • Service mind and good interpersonal skills

 

Accountant

Responsibilities :

  • Performing Bank Reconciliation.
  • Handling Intercompany Transactions and Reconciliations including Account Receivable Module.
  • Setting up and maintaining accounting and fiscal control records. Creating and preparing journal entries that are accurate and compliant with company policies and applicable accounting regulations.
  • Reconciling accounts. Creating, correcting or adjusting entries as appropriate;
  • Assisting in preparing documents and data for monthly withholding tax calculation and submission.
  • Assisting in preparing the annual budget proposal. Monitor and control budget execution to be in line with the approved budget.
  • Supporting team through ad-hoc data collecting, reporting, analysis and special projects.
  • Performing other similar or related duties, as assigned by supervisor.
  • Ensuring safety of the visitors in case of emergency. Follow the company's SSHE policies and regulations in all work under responsibility.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in financial/ project accounting.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP is preferable.
