Currently our client a multinational EPC company in Oil and Gas industry in Indonesia requires positions as below:

 

Senior Expeditors (Indonesian National)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining from Suppliers all materials and equipment and documentation, on or before the agreed delivery date as identified in the Purchase Order,
  • Ensure a permanent reconciliation of the delivery date evolution with the Project schedule requirements,
  • Ensure the full traceability of equipment / materials, and events of the Purchase Order
  • The control of Purchase Order implementation by Vendors, from the issue of the Purchase Order until Equipment / Materials and all requested documentation is received at the designated delivery point, in close coordination with other parties.
  • Taking the necessary corrective actions in order to maintain the contractual delivery date, advising Project Management of potential major problems and proposing solutions
  • The resolution of all OS&DRs (Overages, Shortages, and Damages Reports) raised and any resulting claims arising from the same.
  • Report to Lead Expeditor and Procurement Manager
  • Follow up and update Expediting Report once Buyer has issued PO
  • Contact the Supplier no later than five working days from the Purchase Order issue date and establish the supplier's representative who is responsible for the order.
  • Arrange for Kick Off Meeting whenever deemed to be necessary for the particular order
  • Expedite document submission from suppliers and return from the reviewers (CONTRACTOR and COMPANY engineers)
  • Ensure timely submission of Vendor Reports in relation to updating the regular Expediting Reports
  • Confirm the delivery date(s) as defined in the Purchase Order
  • Obtain the Vendor's organization chart for the order.
  • Obtain the Vendor's drawings and documents schedule.
  • Review documents particulars with Vendor (i.e. numbering procedures, number of copies, transmission means, etc.)
  • Obtain the Vendor's production program - Fabrication Schedule.
  • Obtain the suborder list.
  • Expedite preparation and submission of the Vendor's drawings and documents as required in SDRL
  • Expedite placing orders with sub Vendors.
  • Expedite sub Vendors with the Vendor's expeditor or directly with sub supplier as required.
  • Expedite fabrication and delivery schedule.
  • Plan and execute timely expediting visits for major packages.
  • Obtain the inspection schedule in advance.
  • Coordinate with inspection.
  • Coordinate with logistic.
  • All the above activities will be reported via Expediting Report on a regular basis (frequency of report to be agreed between CONTRACTOR and COMPANY)
  • To check and verify that Vendor's obligations to the order are fulfilled before Invoices are approved for payment.
  • Identify any issues which will impact delivery schedule.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in engineering discipline
  • Experience in Oil and Gas upstream Industry
  • Minimum 10 years of experience within EPCI framework
