Senior NDT Technician

Responsibilities

People are the key element to the success of PT Weir Oil and Gas Indonesia.  Our company is a worldwide leader in wellhead systems, high-pressure flow control products, surface flow control equipment, well service pumps, rental and inspection services through our expansive network of global service facilities.

A unique opportunity has become available for 1 Senior NDT Technician. This position would greatly welcome Senior Technicians with oil field experience and a strong knowledge base of flow control products and have an emphasis to detail.

This role is permanent full time based in Balikpapan, Indonesia. The ability to work autonomously whilst providing reliable, excellent customer service will be highly regarded.

Weir Group prides itself on service and value to our customers. The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with a variety high profile clients.  Ability to troubleshoot and show improvement initiatives will also be favoured.

Requirements

Suitable Senior NDT Technician applicants will have the following:

• Recognised qualifications / experience with Magnetic Particle, Level 2, Ultrasonics Level 1 and Hydrostatic pressure testing procedures
• Onshore / Offshore oil field experience
• Proven leadership skills
• Strong work ethic and a focus on customer relations.
• Flow Control product knowledge.
• Well developed written and verbal communication skills.
• Passport eligibility and valid permit to work in Indonesia.
• Must understand and comply with all safety rules and company policies
• Intermediate computer knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, SAP or simular
• Valid forklift licence.
• Current motor vehicle licence.
